According to one embodiment, a plasmid vector (1) includes a gene promoter (10), a first gene (21), a second gene (25), an internal ribosome entry site (23), a transcription termination signal sequence (27) and a replication origin sequence (30). The first gene (21) encodes a reporter protein for visualizing the activity of the gene promoter (10) which is disposed at the downstream of the gene promoter (10). The second gene (25) is disposed at the downstream of the gene promoter (10) and encodes a replication origin-binding protein. The internal ribosome entry site (25) is disposed between the first gene (21) and the second gene (25). The transcription termination signal sequence (27) encodes a signal for terminating the transcription of the first gene (21) and the second gene (25). The replication origin sequence (27) is recognized by the replication origin-binding protein.
