    摘要: The present invention provides aligned fine particles(30) that are aligned on a substrate(32). An organic coating film(31) is bonded to surfaces of the fine particles(30) is formed on the surfaces of the fine particles(30). An organic coating film(33) bonded to a surface of the substrate(32) is formed on the surface of the substrate(32). The organic coating film(31) on the surfaces of the fine particles(31) is bonded(34) to the organic coating film(33) on the surface of the substrate(32), whereby the fine particles(31) are immobilized and aligned on the substrate(32). Thus, it is possible to align the fine particles(31) of a nanometer scale in a specific direction. When fine magnetic particles are used, a magnetic recording medium for high recording density can be obtained, and a high-density magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus can be provided.

    摘要: A medical member having active hydrogen groups such as hydroxyl, amino or imino groups at its surface, is dipped, either directly or after formation of an inner layer on its surface, into a solution. The solution is prepared by dissolving a surface active material, e.g., CF3(CF2)7 (CH2)2SiCl3 in a non-aqueous solvent. A dehydrochlorination reaction is brought about between active hydrogen groups at the surface of the member and SiCl groups of the surface active material, thus producing bonds of CF3(CF2)7(CH2)2Si(O-)3 over the entire surface. A fluorine-containing monomolecular film is formed, which is chemically (or covalently) bonded to the member surface and has a thickness at the nanometer level. Since the chemically adsorbed film is covalently bonded to the member or inner layer, it is chemically stable and difficult to separate. Excellent medical members can be obtained when the invention is applied to an artificial tooth, a joint, a bone, a blood bag, a catheter, a blood transportation tool, a dialysis equipment part, an operation thread, a medical implant and an operation tool.
