The ester for refrigerator oils is obtained by treating a crude ester product, which is obtained by reacting a neopentyl polyol having a carbon number of 5 to 10 with an aliphatic carboxylic acid having a carbon number of 4 to 12, with one or more kinds of salts selected from the group consisting of sulfite, bisulfite, and pyrosulfite.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a process for preparing an isomeric mixture comprising a major amount of a para-linear mono-alkyl-substituted hydroxyaromatic compound. The process involves the steps of: (a) providing an isomeric mixture comprising a major amount of a para-di(alkyl-substituted)aromatic compound; wherein a first alkyl substituent is a C3 to C8 alkyl moiety and a second alkyl substituent is a C4+n to C8+n linear alkyl moiety, wherein n is 0 to 42 and further wherein the second alkyl substituent is at least one carbon atom greater than the first alkyl substituent; (b) subjecting the isomeric mixture comprising a major amount of a para-di(alkyl-substituted)aromatic compound to oxidation conditions in the presence of an oxygen-containing source, thereby converting the first alkyl substituent which is a C3 to C8 alkyl moiety to a hydroperoxide-containing substituted moiety to produce an isomeric mixture comprising a major amount of a para-linear alkyl-substituted, hydroperoxide-containing substituted aromatic compound; and (c) converting the hydroperoxide-containing substituted moiety to a hydroxyl moiety thereby providing an isomeric mixture comprising a major amount of a para-linear mono-alkyl-substituted hydroxyaromatic compound.

摘要: A method for preparing a nano suspension lubricant comprises providing substantially spherical nano particles of size ranging from about less than 50 nanometers to about 100 nanometers. The method further comprises mixing the nano particles and a surfactant in about 1:1 ratio in a solvent to form a mixture. The solvent is evaporated from the mixture to obtain surface modified nano particles. The surface modified nano particles include the nano particles coated with the surfactant. The method comprises mixing the surface modified nano particles with a lubricating fluid to form the nano suspension lubricant, where the lubricating fluid comprises about 90% to 99% base oil and about 1% to 10% additives.

摘要: The invention has an object of providing ethylene/±-olefin copolymers having high randomness and a small number of double bonds in the copolymers. The ethylene/±-olefin copolymers of the invention are obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and an ±-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms in the presence of an olefin polymerization catalyst which includes a bridged metallocene compound (A) represented by the formula [I], and at least one compound (B) selected from organometallic compounds (B-1), organoaluminum oxy compounds (B-2) and compounds (B-3) capable of reacting with the bridged metallocene compound (A) to form an ion pair, and have a specific weight average molecular weight, a specific molecular weight distribution, a specific glass transition point and a specific value B.
