The substrate preferably has a thickness of 10 µm or less and more preferably has a thickness of 3 µm or less. Each of the two pressure-sensitive adhesive layers preferably has a thickness of 6 µm or less. The double-faced pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet is thin, can securely affix adherends when applied, and can be easily separated from one of the adherends when peeled off.
