摘要: There is proposed a method and corresponding apparatuses allowing a change from a packet switched communication domain to a circuit switched communication domain. When a user equipment as a connection terminating point receives a connection initialization message with a media flow, such as audio, which cannot be delivered by the packet switched access, it sends a specific response rejecting the connection via the packet switched access to an application server for service centralization and continuity. In the application server, it is checked whether several conditions are met in order to determine whether the communication connection comprising the media flow is allowed to be changed to the circuit switched domain. If yes, the communication connection is changed from the packet switched communication domain to the circuit switched communication domain.

摘要: A user that is using both CS (GSM) and IMS (MMTeL) domains needs to be provided a consistent service and thus a choice has to be made as to which data model is going to be used either GSM or MMTeL, for this reason a software updating system and method are described. The system for updating communication services includes user equipment (e.g. GSM 110, 510, 610) configured to communicate using a first communication service standard (140, 530, 630) and a second communication service standard (e.g. IMS, MMTeL), a subscriber database, an application server, and a network device. The network device detects an update trigger corresponding to a user equipment, requests that the user equipment discontinue using the first communication service standard, and flags the user equipment as updated by communicating with the application server and the subscriber database, The network device also receives a communication from the user equipment and determines whether the communication corresponds to the first communication service standard or the second communication service standard. If the communication corresponds to the first communication service standard the network device communicates an error message to the user equipment. However, if the communication corresponds to a second communication service standard, the network device processes the communication.

摘要: The invention proposes a method for controlling group communication in a communication network, comprising the steps of sending, to a plurality of users, requests (Ml to M3) to join a group communication session, detecting that at least one (C) of the users was not accepting the request to join the group communication, and subscribing (M7) to a status of the at least one of the users not joining the group communication session. The status may be a registration status or a presence status.

摘要: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for facilitating voice call continuity in intersystem handover. A method may include determining that a user equipment device being handed over from a packet switched network to a circuit switched network is a party to a voice call in an alerting state. The method may further include providing session state information indicating that the user equipment device is a party to a voice call in an alerting state to a network entity on the circuit switched network in response to the determination. Corresponding systems, computer program products and apparatuses are also provided.

摘要: The present invention relates to a session handling entity and an application server (AS) in a communication system, the session handling entity (S-CSCF) is obtaining, from a register entity, a correlation identity for a registering private user identity of a user, transmitting the correlation identity as part of a registration procedure to the application server, and the application server initiates, based on a received session request associated with the user, at least one session request towards corresponding number of devices of the user wherein the application server is configured to check the correlation identity to ensure that not more than one session request is initiated for each device of the user.

摘要: Disclosed is a method including having an ongoing communication session via a packet switched network, transferring said communication session from the packet switched network to a second network providing both packet and circuit switched access, and informing an application server maintaining said ongoing communication session that the communication session is to be split into a packet switched part and a circuit switched part. Also disclosed is a method in an application server, including receiving, from a first communication device, an indication that a communication session between the first communication device and a second communication device is to be split into a packet switched part and a circuit switched part, waiting for to receive transfer requests of both the packet switched partand the circuit switched part, and informing the second communication device of the split.
