摘要: The present invention discloses an apparatus (4000) for use in treating a respiratory disorder comprising: a housing (4010); a pneumatic block (4020) comprising an air path therein; a pressure generator (4140) located in the pneumatic block and configured to supply a flow of air; a device outlet (4004) fluidly coupled to the pressure generator and configured to be coupled to an air circuit (4170) to deliver the flow of air to a patient interface (3000) for treating a respiratory disorder; and a chassis (4016) configured to locate the housing, the pneumatic block and the device outlet, the chassis comprising a dock (4130, 5130) for receiving a muffler (4124) or a humidifier reservoir (5110), wherein the dock includes a dock outlet (4132) configured to deliver a flow of air into the muffler or the humidifier reservoir, and a dock inlet (4134) configured to receive a flow of air from the muffler or the humidifier reservoir when inserted, the dock outlet being comprised in an intermediate tube (4008) configured to couple to the pneumatic block to receive a flow of air from the pneumatic block for delivery to the dock.

摘要: A vent system for use with a patient interface during respiratory therapy of a patient with a therapy flow of gas pressurized above ambient pressure, the vent system providing a vent flow of gas to discharge gas exhaled by the patient from a pressurized volume, the vent flow of gas being continuous during the respiratory therapy, the vent system comprising a vent housing comprising a base having at least one first orifice extending through the base to allow gas to be discharged to atmosphere from the pressurized volume; at least one second orifice to allow gas to be discharged to atmosphere from the pressurized volume; a vent housing connector having a second orifice configured to direct the therapy flow of gas to the patient interface; a heat and moisture exchanger (HME) comprising an HME housing and an HME material within the HME housing; and a membrane positioned adjacent to the base, wherein the vent housing and the vent housing connector are configured to be connected to, at least in part, form a cavity, and wherein the HME is positioned in the cavity when the vent system is assembled, wherein the pressurized volume is in fluid communication with atmosphere through the at least one first orifice and the at least one second orifice throughout a therapeutic pressure range, and wherein the membrane is elastically deformable due to pressure within the pressurized volume to apportion the vent flow of gas between the at least one first orifice and the at least one second orifice throughout the therapeutic pressure range.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a mask assembly for delivering a supply of pressurized gas to a patient for treatment of sleep disordered breathing, the mask assembly comprising: a patient interface configured to form a seal with the patient's face to deliver the supply of gas to the patient during treatment; an air delivery conduit configured to, in use, extend along at least one side of the patient's face between the patient's eye and ear to deliver the supply of gas to the patient interface and to at least partially support the patient interface in a desired position on the patient's face, the air delivery conduit including: first and second conduit portions that cooperate to form a tubular conduit, wherein each conduit portion includes an inner sealing layer that forms an air impermeable interior surface of the conduit and an outer layer of a textile that forms an exterior surface of the conduit, and wherein the first and second conduit portions are thermoformed to create complimentary shapes that cooperate to form the conduit.

摘要: The present invention relates to a patient interface for sealed delivery of a flow of air at a therapeutic pressure of at least 4 cmH 2 O with respect to ambient air pressure throughout the patient's respiratory cycle in use. The patient interface comprises a cushion assembly with a plenum chamber, a seal-forming structure and a positioning and stabilising structure. The positioning and stabilising structure comprises two gas delivery tubes, wherein each of the two gas delivery tubes comprises a tab projecting in a generally posterior direction relative to the patient's head in use, and a concertina portion configured to allow adjustment of a length of each of the two gas delivery tubes to fit different size heads, wherein the concertina portion is positioned on each of the two gas delivery tubes between a corresponding first end and a connection port.
