摘要: The present invention discloses a cushion member for a patient interface for delivery of a supply of pressurised air or breathable gas to an entrance of a patient's airways, the cushion member comprising: at least one retaining structure for repeatable engagement with and disengagement from a frame member; and a seal-forming structure having a nasal opening to provide pressurized gas to both nares of the patient and a plenum chamber formed in one piece, the seal-forming structure configured to seal around an inferior periphery of the patient's nose, and the seal-forming structure and plenum chamber permanently connected to the at least one retaining structure; wherein the seal-forming structure is made from a first material and the at least one retaining structure is made from a second material with different mechanical characteristics from the first material and the second material is more rigid than the first material; and wherein an increase in air pressure within the cushion member causes a sealing force between the seal-forming structure and the frame member to increase.

摘要: The present invention discloses a positioning and stabilising structure for a patient interface for delivery of a supply of pressurized air or breathable gas to a patient's airways, the positioning and stabilising structure comprising: a first spacer fabric strap portion including: a first fabric layer; a second fabric layer; a central fabric layer between the first fabric layer and the second fabric layer; and an unbroken loop layer on the second fabric layer such that the second fabric layer is between the central fabric layer and the unbroken loop layer, wherein the central fabric layer, the first fabric and the second fabric are warp/weft knitted together, and wherein the unbroken loop layer comprises loops and is configured to fasten to hooks of a hook and loop fastener to enable length adjustment of the positioning and stabilising structure; a second spacer fabric strap portion, the second spacer fabric strap portion including: a third fabric layer; a fourth fabric layer; a second central fabric layer between the third fabric layer and the fourth fabric layer, wherein the second spacer fabric strap portion omits unbroken loops, and wherein the second central fabric layer, the third fabric layer and the fourth fabric layer are warp/weft knitted together, and wherein the first spacer fabric strap portion has 6% to 10% elongation when a 10 Newtons force is applied, and wherein the second spacer fabric strap portion has 10% to 20% elongation when a 10 Newtons force is applied.

摘要: The present invention relates to a patient interface for sealed delivery of a flow of air at a therapeutic pressure of at least 4 cmH 2 O with respect to ambient air pressure throughout the patient's respiratory cycle in use. The patient interface comprises a cushion assembly with a plenum chamber, a seal-forming structure and a positioning and stabilising structure. The positioning and stabilising structure comprises two gas delivery tubes, wherein each of the two gas delivery tubes comprises a tab projecting in a generally posterior direction relative to the patient's head in use, and a concertina portion configured to allow adjustment of a length of each of the two gas delivery tubes to fit different size heads, wherein the concertina portion is positioned on each of the two gas delivery tubes between a corresponding first end and a connection port.

摘要: A patient interface comprises: a plenum chamber (3200) pressurisable to a therapeutic pressure above ambient air pressure, said plenum chamber including a plenum chamber inlet port sized and structured to receive a flow of air at the therapeutic pressure for breathing by a patient; a seal-forming structure (3100) constructed and arranged to seal with a region of the patient's face surrounding an entrance to the patient's airways, said seal-forming structure being constructed and arranged such that the flow of air at said therapeutic pressure is delivered to an entrance to the patient's nares, and the seal-forming structure being constructed and arranged to maintain said therapeutic pressure in the plenum chamber throughout the patient's respiratory cycle in use; a positioning and stabilising structure configured to hold the seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position on the patient's head, the positioning and stabilising structure comprising a tie, and the tie being constructed and arranged so that at least a portion overlies a region of the patient's head superior to an otobasion superior of the patient's head in use; and a vent structure formed in the plenum chamber and configured to allow a continuous flow of gases exhaled by the patient from an interior of the plenum chamber to ambient; wherein the patient interface is configured to leave the patient's mouth uncovered during therapy, wherein the seal-forming structure is shaped and dimensioned such that no portion of the seal-forming structure enters into the patient's nares during use, wherein the seal-forming structure (3100) comprises two lateral support regions (3112.3; 3117), each located at a lateralmost side of the seal-forming structure (3100), and a medial region (3112.1; 3113, 3115) positioned between the lateral support regions, the naris openings passing through the seal-forming structure at the medial region, wherein the lateral support regions (3112.3; 3117) are thicker than the medial region (3112.1; 3113, 3115), and

The patient interface comprises a plenum chamber (3200) at least partially forming a breathing chamber pressurisable to a therapeutic pressure above ambient air pressure. The plenum chamber includes a plenum chamber inlet sized and structured to receive a flow of air at the therapeutic pressure for breathing by a patient and a seal-forming structure constructed and arranged to form a seal with a region of the patient's face surrounding an entrance to the patient's airways. The seal-forming structure has an opening formed therein to deliver the flow of air to an entrance to the patient's nares. The plenum chamber (3200) comprises a textile outer layer (3210), a textile inner layer (3212) and a foam interior (3211) disposed therebetween. The textile outer layer and the textile inner layer are respectively joined to opposing sides of the foam interior.
