The invention relates to an oil separating device (2) for crankcase gases of an internal combustion engine comprising a pre-separating device (28), a cyclone separating device (30), a fine separating device (32) and, optionally, a valve device (36), which are all provided in a cascade-like manner on a cylinder head cover (4) of the internal combustion engine. The aim of the invention is to create an oil separating device for use in different engines having different crank gas quantities. To this end, the oil separating device is designed so that coils (48) of a different radial depth of the flow path can be inserted, as desired, into a housing section for the cyclone separating device (30).

The invention concerns an exhaust gas return valve whose valve member (15) cooperates with a valve seat (13) of a muff (8) of an exhaust gas return pipe (6), the muff (8) projecting into a pipe (1) of the intake system of an internal combustion engine, and the valve seat facing towards the inlet end of the exhaust gas return pipe (6). In this way, a valve member (15) of the exhaust gas return valve is acted upon by exhaust gas pressure in the closure direction, additionally to a pressure spring (29) against which an armature (25) of an electromagnet (20) acts in the opening direction. In order to equalize the forces acting in the closure direction, the exhaust gas is guided via a duct (42) in the valve stem (17) into a control space (41) which is sealed with respect to the pressure in the pipe (1) by a movable wall (36) with an operating surface which corresponds substantially to the operating surface of the valve member (15). In this way, the forces are equalized such that the control of the exhaust gas return valve depends only on the electromagnetic forces and the force of the pressure spring (29).

The invention relates to a sensor arrangement for determining a tank fill level of a liquid (7), especially a reducing agent for removing nitrogen from the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine, which liquid is contained in a tank (5), at least two electrically conductive measuring electrodes (14, 16) of different length being arranged substantially parallel relative each other and being adapted to be arranged substantially perpendicular in the tank. The measuring electrodes are at least partially embedded in a carrier (8, 32) that is produced of an electrically non-conductive material. The measuring electrodes are rigidly fastened relative to the carrier (32) on one side (17) by locking means (38) and are radially held on the other side by radial holding means (42) of the carrier in such a manner as to compensate a heat-induced variation in length of the measuring electrodes (14, 16) relative to the carrier by an axial compensating movement of the measuring electrodes (14, 16) relative to the holding means (42) on the other side (19). The invention also relates to a method for producing said sensor arrangement.
