In the cleaning tool for the collection member, the woven portion (55) includes two first outer surfaces (55a, 55b) that are located at respective ends of the placement surface (52c) and that extend parallel to a direction in which the bristle (54) extends. In the cleaning tool for the collection member, the brush unit (51) is secured to the mount portion (52) by bonding a region that includes at least part of each of the two first outer surfaces (55a, 55b) to the securing portion with an adhesive.
