The different processing is unbalance correction rinsing performed by supplying the metal ion-added water, not tap water, to the drum (630) and steering the water. Thereby, the unbalance of the drum (630) during dehydration rotation can be corrected without losing the antibacterial effect provided by the metal ions applied to the washing.

A water supply device (300) is provided with an ion elusion unit (100) and a shower spray section (200). The shower spray section (200) converts water obtained from the ion elusion unit (100) through a connecting pipe (250) into shower form to spray over washing. The shower-like liquid drops are small in diameter, easy to dry, so that crystals of smaller particle diameter (greater surface area), full of lattice defects, and easy to dissolve can be produced. Such crystals adhere to the washing. Therefore, when these crystals come in contact with moisture, it becomes easier for silver ions in the liquid drops to eluate. Further, even in the case where the washing is a water repellent fabric or hydrophobic fabric, the fabric surface will dry before its water is repelled. Thus, antibacterial effects due to silver ions can be given to such washing.

The spacing between the electrodes is narrower on the downstream side of the water stream flowing in the case than on the upstream side. The case has an inlet and an outlet having a cross section area smaller than that of the inlet. The outlet is disposed at the lowest location of the inner space of the case. The cross section area of the inner space is smaller on the downstream side than the upstream side.
