    摘要: Novel antibodies useful because of having the binding specificity for β-amyloid or derivatives thereof with β-amyloid acting as an immunogen, or monoclonal antibodies which recognize the N-terminus, C-terminus and central portion, respectively, of β-amyloid. The combination of these antibodies provides an assay method whereby β-amyloid can be specifically determined with a high sensitivity. This method is useful for diagnosing diseases in which β-amyloid or a derivative thereof participates, such as Alzheimer's disease, and the antibodies are useful for developing preventive or therapeutic agents for Alzheimer's disease.
