摘要： A method for controlling a rail vehicle (12) within a working area is provided, wherein a working area (16) is allocated (104) to the rail vehicle (12) by an external control device (14), wherein the external control device (14) determines (110) the position of the rail vehicle (12) within the working area (16), and wherein the external control device (14) controls a driving condition of the rail vehicle (12), in order to prevent the rail vehicle (12) from leaving the working area (16). This method allows save operation of a rail vehicle within a working area of a railway network.
