The invention further relates to a method for assembling such a torque transmission device. Different aspects of the invention relate to the setting of an initial load on at least one engagement bearing or release bearing (18, 30) of the actuating device, to the setting of an over-center configuration for at least one compensating spring associated with at least one rotating member (22; 14) of the actuating device, the setting of a rotational adjustment range of the rotating member and/or an axial adjustment range of an axially adjustable actuating member (22; 14) based on a rotational motion provided for the rotating member, to the achievement of an NC characteristic in the case of an NO friction clutch arrangement, or an NO characteristic in the case of an NC friction clutch arrangement by the compensating spring, and to advantageous design solutions relating to the actuating device.
