    摘要: A preventive or a remedy for hepatopathy containing, as the active ingredient, a derivative of a polypeptide which exhibits an activity of binding to growth hormone secretion-inducer receptor and thus elevating intracellular calcium ion concentration and has an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of the amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NOS:1 to 22 or an amino acid sequence derived from such an amino acid sequence by the deletion, substitution or addition of one to several amino acids other than the amino acid residues at the 1- to 4-positions in the amino terminal side or a pharmacologically acceptable salt of the same. This preventive or remedy for hepatopathy is useful as a drug suitable for treating or preventing liver diseases such as hepatitis, hepatic cirrhosis and hepatic insufficiency. This preventive or remedy for hepatopathy is also useful as a drug for promoting liver regeneration or liver function recovery after hepatoctomy.
