    摘要： A filling unit and a method for filling a confectionery mass into a container or a mold includes a fill housing with a filling nozzle (2) and at least two dosing pistons in a cylinder which is connected to the fill housing. In the fill housing, a valve is arranged for each cylinder. A mixing block with internal ducts connects each of the outlets with a respective internal duct in the filling nozzle. The confectionery mass is conducted from a filling nozzle into at least one of the cylinders after which the confectionery mass is dosed down into the mold or container by actuating the dosing pistons. The speeds of the pistons are controlled independently of each other, providing varying patterns in longitudinal direction of the ice-cream/confectionery product. The movement of the filling unit relative to the container or mold can be varied providing additional options for variation in patterns.

    摘要： An apparatus and method for measuring a uniform volume and weight of food material, and continuously delivering it, is provided. The apparatus (1) comprises screws (5) disposed at the bottom of a hopper (3) and a delivering means (7) having a rotating cylinder (27) and vanes (29) freely slidable in respective pairs of slots (31) formed in the periphery of the cylinder. The delivering means is disposed in a housing (9) and both ends of the vanes slidably contact the inner surface (21) of the side wall of the housing to form compartments (39) between each adjacent pair of vanes. In the apparatus, the material is fed by screws (5) and introduced into the compartment for measuring. Since the rotational speeds of the screw and cylinder are respectively controlled to introduce a sufficient amount of the material into the compartment, the density of the material in the compartment becomes uniform. The material is then continuously discharged from the apparatus.
