摘要:
Disclosed are technical fibers and yarns made with partially aromatic polyamides and a fiber having vapor phase action such as an FR cellulosic fiber. Fabrics made from such fibers and yarns demonstrate superior flame retardancy over traditional flame retardant nylon 6,6 fabrics. Further, the disclosed fibers and yarns, when blended with other flame retardant fibers, do not demonstrate the dangerous “scaffolding effect” common with flame retardant nylon 6,6 blended fabrics.

Die Sensoreinheit (2) weist als Sensorkomponente einen Temperatursensor (20) auf, welcher zur Messung der Oberflächentemperaturen von außerhalb der Sensoreinheit (2) angeordneten Gegenständen ausgebildet ist.
摘要:
A flame resistant protective head shield includes a hollow body having a neck receptacle to facilitate the body being positioned around a neck of a wearer. The body has an exterior surface and an interior surface. The interior surface defines an interior cavity. An opening is provided in the exterior surface in communication with the interior cavity. A flexible flame resistant substrate is provided having a secured end and a free end. The secured end is secured to the body. The substrate is movable between a stored position within interior cavity and a deployed position in which the free end of the substrate extends through the opening and upwardly to cover a head of the wearer. A pressurized gas powered actuator is provided to move the substrate in a fraction of a second from the stored position to the deployed position. A sensor is provided for detecting a flash fire coupled to the actuator. Deployment of the substrate by the actuator is triggered by the sensor sensing a flash fire.

The present invention relates to a flame-resistant quilted textile material suitable for flame resistant personal protective clothing containing or consisting of flame-resistant fibers, that is quilted with an upper quilting thread and a bobbin thread, wherein the bobbin thread is containing or consisting of a heat shrinking material. It further relates to the use of that material for the manufacture of a laminate, as well as to the laminate obtained by such use and to a flame resistant personal protective garment containing the flame-resistant quilted textile material.
