    摘要: The invention refers to an electro-mechanical device specially designed so that in combination with a laser generator it can be used to treat the inner tissue of the vagina and, as a consequence of said treatment, retract the pelvic floor so that the bladder is lifted and due to its change in angle, slight or moderate urine leakage is resolved or improved.
    With the same device and laser generator, it is also possible to treat the inner surface of the vagina, reducing possible laxity arising from childbirth and aging.

The increase in modulus can be effected by directing sufficient energy to the fascial tissue so as to promote the formation of scar tissue. The second mechanism attaches tissue planes together, often by directing energy to an interface between adjacent fascial tissues.

    摘要: An incontinence electrode (14) for controlling urinary incontinence in women is made of alternating bands of conductive (22, 24, 26 and 28) and non-conductive (30, 32 and 34) polymers molded to form a tubular body (16). Electrical receptacles, formed in the molding process at the interior circumferential surface of the conductive polymer bands (22, 24, 26 and 28), accept metal contacts attached to electrical leads (36) to make a secure and durable, mechanical and electrical connection between the conductive polymer bands (22, 24, 26 and 28) and the leads (36). The leads (36) are coupled to a controller (40) and carry electrical current to and from the metal contacts which then distribute the current to the conductive polymer bands (22, 24, 26 and 28) to cause a contraction of the vaginal muscles responsible for controlling urinary incontinence in women.
