Abstract:
The present invention relates to a buffy coat extraction kit including: a kit body having a cylindrical plasma part that has an internal volume for forming a plasma layer, a cylindrical buffy coat part which extends in the longitudinal direction while communicating with the lower part of the plasma part and has a diameter smaller than the diameter of the plasma part and an internal volume for forming a buffy coat layer, and a cylindrical erythrocyte part which extends in the longitudinal direction while communicating with the lower part of the buffy coat part and has a diameter larger than the diameter of the buffy coat part and an internal volume for forming an erythrocyte layer, wherein the free end part of the plasma part and the free end part of the erythrocyte part are respectively opened; a lower packing movably accommodated in the erythrocyte part while maintaining an air-tight state; and a pusher moving the lower packing.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to automatically recognize a direction, a posture and characteristics such as a shape, a size, a type and an expiration date of a medicine and store the medicine with ensuring a high degree of freedom. A medicine supplying apparatus 1 includes an recognizing part 300 and a storing part 500. A storing area is defined at the time of storing the medicine 2 according to a size of a medicine 2 contained in characteristics of the medicine 2 recognized by the recognizing part 300. The medicine 2 is stored in the storing part 500 in a state that identification information of the medicine 2 is associated with the storing area. Further, the medicine supplying apparatus 1 has a determination processing part which can determine whether or not the medicine 2 is a target to be treated based on the characteristics of the medicine recognized by the recognizing part 300.
Abstract:
There is provided a vial cap with which, when there is a possibility that a cover which covers a stopper for a vial has come off and the stopper for the vial has been contaminated at a stage prior to use, the fact can easily be recognized. The vial cap is a resin vial cap (1) to be attached to a mouth portion (72) of a vial (70) to fix a stopper (74) fitted into the mouth portion (72) so that the stopper may not come off the mouth portion (72). The vial cap (1) is provided with a cap main body (8) that has an upper opening (6) formed therein and a cover (40) that covers the upper opening (6) of the cap main body (8) . The cap main body (8) has a plurality of pin-receiving holes (10) formed therein, and the cover (40) has a plurality of fixing pins (46). Each pin-receiving hole (10) and a fixing pin (46) that is paired with the pin-receiving hole (10) are formed in complementary shapes. The plurality of fixing pins (46) of the cover (40) are accommodated in the plurality of pin-receiving holes (10) of the cap main body (8), and the cap main body (8) and the cover (40) are joined with the pin-receiving holes (10) and the fixing pins (46) engaged.
Abstract:
Provided herein are devices, systems, kits and methods for treating skin conditions, ailments or diseases, such as skin warts. In some examples, a device for treating warts comprises a reservoir that includes a cantharidin formulation, and an applicator device in fluid communication with the reservoir that delivers the cantharidin formulation to a subject.
Abstract:
The object was to kill cells, even in the case of genome mutations, in a broad field of application, efficiently, reliably and as effectively as possible in the organism, without the occurrence of disadvantages and side effects of chemical, physical, biochemical, but in particular molecular-biological, methods that are known per se. According to the invention, for the targeted killing of cells, nucleotide molecules are used which bind by a nucleotide sequence to a single region of the mRNA, which, on the basis of sequencing analyses, is subjected very rarely to a mutation, and therefore, even in the case of increased mutation rates in the entire genome, reliably kill the cell without a required further mRNA binding or other cell activity.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to packages comprising containers filled with supersaturated solutions of contrast media and closed with a closure means. The package comprises closure means comprising Carbon Black. The invention further relates to methods for improving the stability of such contrast media during storage, and in particular the method includes filling the contrast media in a container and closing the container with a closure means comprising Carbon Black.
Abstract:
A coded collapsible drug reservoir (200) and a drug delivery system (100) including a coded collapsible drug reservoir (200). The drug reservoir (200) includes a collapsible housing (202) and a port (204) in communication with the collapsible housing (202). The drug reservoir (200) further includes a coding feature (206) disposed on the drug reservoir (200), and the coding feature (206) identifies the drug reservoir (200).
