摘要： This invention relates to systems for securing a tube (e.g. feeding tube) and/or a patient interface or a dermal patch to a user. Another embodiment comprises a patient interface itself comprising a backing for positioning on a patient's face, a dermal patch having a patient side and an interface side, the patient side of the patch attachable to the user, the patch comprising at least a first flap portion attachable to the tube for affixing the tube to the patch, a two-part releasable connection arrangement for releasably securing the patient interface to the patch.

摘要： A patient interface assembly has a patient interface and a securement system for the patient interface and/or patient interface tubing. The patient interface has a body and at least one nasal prong extending from the body. The at least one nasal prong has a gas inlet for fluid communication with a supply of breathable gas, and a gas outlet configured to direct a flow of gas towards a nare of the user's nose. The at least one nasal prong further includes an exterior surface, at least a portion of the exterior surface is a sealing surface configured to seal the nare of the user's nose. The securement system has a two-part releasable attachment or connection arrangement, the arrangement comprising a first patch and a second patch.

- determining at least one point in time from the respiration pattern; and
- controlling an aerosol stream (114) to the patient (116) triggered at the at least one point in time,
wherein the at least one point in time advances at least one of an onset or a suspension of a breathing of the patient (116).
In particular, the apparatus (110) is designed for providing a high aerosol concentration to the patient (116), especially to a preterm infant.
