摘要: A flow-coating apparatus and a flow-coating method are provided. The flow-coating apparatus is configured to flow-coat a member to be flow-coated (1) with an insulation layer, where the member to be flow-coated (1) includes a first surface (11) and an outer peripheral surface (12) surrounding a periphery of the first surface (11), the first surface (11) being perpendicular to a vertical direction. The flow-coating apparatus includes a first flow-coating mechanism (2) and a second flow-coating mechanism (3), where a flow-coating opening of the first flow-coating mechanism (2) faces the first surface (11) and is configured to flow-coat the first surface (11) with the insulation layer; and a flow-coating opening of the second flow-coating mechanism (3) faces the outer peripheral surface (12) and is configured to flow-coat the outer peripheral surface (12) with the insulation layer. The flow-coating apparatus can ensure even distribution of the flow-coating material on the first surface and the outer peripheral surface.

摘要: Problem: To provide a liquid material ejection device in which a plunger can be efficiently accelerated, the center of gravity of the device can be positioned at a lower level, and satisfactory maintainability can be obtained, and an application apparatus incorporating the liquid material ejection device. Solution: The liquid material ejection device includes a liquid chamber communicating with an ejection port and being supplied with a liquid material, a plunger including a tip portion that has a smaller diameter than the liquid chamber and is moved back and forth in the liquid chamber, an elastic member urging the plunger upward, an arm disposed in a state extending in a substantially horizontal direction, an arm driver serving as a driving source to operate the arm, and a base member on which the arm driver is disposed, wherein the liquid material ejection device further includes a rocking mechanism unit connected to the arm driver and rockingly supporting the arm, the arm driver includes a plurality of actuators disposed in a longitudinal direction of the arm, the arm includes a pressing portion pressing the plunger downward, the plunger includes a contact portion pressed by the pressing portion, and the plunger is linearly reciprocated with rocking motion of the arm. The application apparatus incorporates the liquid material ejection device.

摘要: In ejecting ink from unused ink ejection ports or ink ejection ports not used frequently onto a can body to suppress ink clogging, the ink clogging is suppressed while degradation in the quality of an image to be formed on the can body is suppressed. On the surface of a can main body 110, a main image MG, which is a main image, and a strip-shaped image OG, which is a sub-image, are formed. The strip-shaped image OG is formed using ink ejection ports not used at forming the main image MG or low-frequency ink ejection ports not ejecting ink frequently. Thus, ink clogging hardly occurs in an ink jet head.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a structural component having tailored material properties by applying an IR-absorbent coating to a substrate formed of a ferrous-based, aluminum-based, magnesium-based, or fiber reinforced composite material is provided. The coating is preferably formed of iron oxide (Fe304) decorated multiwall carbon nanotubes. Alternatively, the coating is wax-based or polymer-based and includes TriSilanollsooctylt POSS and additives. Different coating compositions may be applied to different zones of the substrate so that the emissivity coefficient varies along the substrate. The coated substrate is heated and formed between a pair of dies to achieve a complex shape or features. The IR-absorbent coating increases the infrared absorption rate during the heating step, which improves formability of the substrate. The iron oxide (Fe304) decorated multiwall carbon nanotubes can also be applied to an engine component to increase the thermal efficiency of the engine by reducing friction and enabling the use of light weight materials.

摘要: Provided is an inkjet recording device for performing print control by increasing or decreasing the number of adjustment ink particles, which are used according to the speed of the object being printed even when the movement speed of the object being printed is increasing or decreasing and which are uncharged particles carrying a fixed electrical charge that takes electrostatic bonding into consideration. The present invention is an inkjet recording device provided with an ink container for holding ink that is to be printed on the object being printed, a nozzle that is connected to the ink container and discharges the ink, a charging electrode for charging specified ink that has been discharged from the nozzle, a deflecting electrode for deflecting the ink charged by said charging electrode, a gutter for collecting the ink that is not used for printing, and a control unit for controlling the printing. The inkjet recording device is characterized in that the control unit performs control so that ink particles which are not used for printing and are adjacent to ink particles that are used for printing are charged by the charging electrode.

摘要: Solder supply device 26 is provided with solder cup 70 housing liquid solder that is tubular and open at one end, a positive/negative pressure supply device capable of controlling the pressure inside the solder cup, supply nozzle 74 for dispensing solder from the solder cup, and solder cutting device 77 that cuts solder supplied from the supply nozzle by ejecting compressed air; solder is supplied from the supply nozzle by increasing the pressure inside the solder cup using the positive/negative pressure supply device; when stopping the supply of solder from the supply nozzle, the pressure inside the solder cup is decreased using positive/negative pressure supply device, and solder is cut by the solder cutting device to match the timing of pressure inside the solder cup decreasing. Thus, because cutting of solder at the supply nozzle and drawing back of solder into the supply nozzle are performed at the same time, dripping of solder is reliably prevented.
