The container with the handle is characterized by comprising the polyester container formed of a mouth part, a shoulder part, a body part, and a bottom part in order from the upper part and the polyester handle fitted to a handle mounting projected part of the container. A recessed part is formed in a part of the body part, and the handle mounting projected part is formed on the recessed part. A space part is formed between the wall surface of the handle mounting projected part on the recessed part and the handle. The body part is formed in a square shape in cross section, the recessed part is positioned at the upper half corner part of the body part, and the handle mounting projected part is positioned at the recessed part on the upper half diagonal line L.

The present invention relates to a PET bottle with an integrated handle (4) and a method of manufacturing the PET bottle, in which the handle (4) is integrally formed on the PET bottle. Thus, the handle (4) is easily provided on the bottle body (3), and has a high strength to enhance the structural durability of the PET bottle. The method includes a preform-forming step (S10) of injecting a molten resin into a first mold unit (10) to produce a preform having a mouth (2), a body (3) and a handle (4); a heating step (S20) of heating the preform; a drawing/blowing step (S30) of drawing the body of the preform by a drawing bar (21) to lengthen the body in a second mold unit (20), and blowing air into the body to shape the body according to the shape of a cavity of the second mold unit (20); and a product-removing step (S40) of removing a product from the second mold unit.
