An apparatus for producing at least one container, in particular in ampoule form, made of thermoplastic material, comprising a mould (13) with mould components (15, 17) and with a first calibrating mandrel (19) and a second calibrating mandrel (23), which can move coaxially in relation to the longitudinal direction (21) of the container (1) and in relation to one another, wherein the first calibrating mandrel (19) and the second calibrating mandrel (23) can move in relation to one another, the first calibrating mandrel (19) through the container (1) located in the mould (13) and the second calibrating mandrel (23) from the outer side of the container (1), into a shaping position in which they calibrate a bottom area which forms at least part of a container bottom between the mandrel ends thereof, and comprising a severing device, which has a movable cutting or punching surface (37), in order to sever excess plastic material which forms during the shaping process in interaction with a cutting or bearing edge on the mould components (17) assigned to the bottom region, is characterized in that the severing device has a cutting device (35), which is guided in an axially displaceable manner on the second calibrating mandrel (23), forms the cutting or punching surface (37) and can move between the withdrawn position and the punching position independently of the movement of the respective calibrating mandrel (23).
Abstract:
Disclosed herein, amongst other things, is a method of transferring a molded article from a moveable mold half of a mold into a receptacle of a post-mold tool. The method includes positioning the moveable mold half relative to the post-mold tool to position the molded article thereon closer to the receptacle and retracting the moveable mold half while simultaneously extending a stripping device to eject the molded article from the moveable mold half and to transfer it into the receptacle.

Disclosed is a stretch-blow moulded plastic container (11) comprising a container body (14), which is closed by a container base, and a container neck (12), which adjoins the container body (14) via a shoulder region (17) and which has a container opening (13). The container body (14) and the container neck (12) are mutually separated by a support ring (15), which substantially radially protrudes, runs circumferentially in at least some regions and which has a support ring underside (51). The shoulder region (17) has a first shoulder section (18), which runs in immediate proximity to the support ring underside (51), and a second shoulder support (19), which is integrally connected to the first shoulder support (18) and which substantially radially adjoins the support ring (5). Also described is a stretch-blow moulding method in which a support ring of a preform, which is placed into a mould cavity of a blow moulding tool, is overblown during radial and axial stretching of the preform.
