摘要: The production of a complete lens system (19) made of plastic for LED (12) and LED-arrangements in the injection-moulding method is only economical in large amounts due to the high cost of tools. According to the invention, only one preform (11), which comprises the coupling region, is produced in the injection-moulding method. In another method step, the coupling region is made according to an additive production method. As a result, small amounts for the development phase of a new product and for special products can also be produced economically.

摘要: To provide a thin display body or the like which enables an optic effect by optical elements to be observed and enables characters and the like, printed or provided in other ways on a portion other than the part where the optic effect can be observed, to be clearly seen. A display body enabling the optic effects by optical elements to be observed, wherein an image for producing the optic effect through interaction with the optical element array 14 is formed in a first partial region on a first surface of a main body. The optical element array 14 is formed in a second partial region corresponding to the first partial region on a second surface 12 opposite to the first surface, the optical element array 14 has recess portions and projecting portions, and a non-formation surface 12c of the second surface 12 is positioned between a lowest part 14d of the recess portions and a highest part 14e of the protruding portions.

摘要: A method for fabricating a Fresnel lens or other lens having a structured surface such as refractive and/or diffractive bi-focal or other multi-focal lenses includes press-coating the structured surface with a low or very low refractive index coating material. The coating is sufficient thick to adequately cover the structured surface so that a smooth coating surface with good optical properties is obtained, for example in the case of a Fresnel structure a thickness greater than 1.5 times and less than 5 times the Fresnel structure height, and is cured in situ. A film, e.g., of PET, PC or PU or a film stack, e.g. a TAC/PVA/TAC film stack is prepared and a heat melting adhesive is applied to the side of the film or film stack to be contacted with the coated structured surface of the lens blank. The film or film stack is then laminated to the cured coating.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a segmented optical structure (100), comprising at least the steps consisting in: a) providing a substrate (1) having microwalls (2) on one of the faces (3) of said substrate, which microwalls form, when the substrate (1) is observed along an axis (X) perpendicular to said face, a plurality of concentric recesses (5); b) depositing at least one material (10; 10a; 10b; 10c) in at least one recess (5); c) bringing at least one part of the upper surface (11) of the material (10; 10a; 10b; 10c) deposited in step b) into contact with at least one liquid medium (30) which is capable of dissolving said material (10; 10a; 10b; 10c) and is substantially inert with respect to the microwalls (2) and to the substrate (1); and d) imposing a centrifugal force on the liquid medium (30) deposited in step c) so as to modify the distribution thereof on the upper surface (11) of the material (10; 10a; 10b; 10c) deposited during step b), the amount of liquid medium (30) used during step c) enabling the material deposited during step b) to be partially dissolved.
