摘要: The present invention provides a vehicle side sill comprising: a first side sill frame; a second side sill frame coupled to the first side sill frame so as to form a hollow portion together with the first side sill frame; a first reinforcing frame which is disposed in the hollow portion, and which has one side joined to the first side sill frame so as to form a first closed section; a diaphragm member which is joined to the first side sill frame and the second side sill frame so as to divide the hollow portion, and to which the other side of the first reinforcing frame is joined; and a second reinforcing frame disposed in the hollow portion, and joined to the diaphragm member so as form a second closed section, wherein the first reinforcing frame has a bending point with a shape of protruding outward from the first closed section.

The bulkheads 6 in the closed sectional spaces 5a and 5b are provided under a predetermined arrangement condition, and each bulkhead 6 is joined to at least the sectionally groove-shaped members 4a and 4b.

A bumper reinforce (10) includes a first component (11) and a second component (21) that are formed from channel steel with approximately U-shaped lateral cross section, and is configured by connecting the ends of the components (11, 21). Connecting portions (13, 23) of the first component (11) and the second component (21) respectively have slits (31, 41) along a direction in which the components (11, 21) are arranged. The components (11, 21) are connected with the components (11, 21) overlapping each other in a staggered manner on both upper and lower sides across the slits (31, 41).

Accordingly, a vehicle body, which is suppressed in deformation of the floor cross member (4) and improved in the torsional rigidity, is successfully provided.
