A body stopper of a vehicle comprises stopper members (60) secured to frames (10), and gussets (70) secured to a floor panel (25) at the bottom of a cabin (20). Each gusset is secured with its upper end to the floor panel in confrontation with a seat cross member (26) and with its side surface to a side sill (24) under a door of the body, and configured to form a closed cross section in cooperation with the floor panel. Stopper members (60) are welded to the frames (10) at positions in front of the gussets, and each stopper member is configured to form a closed cross section in cooperation with the frame. A rearward impact to the front face of the vehicle is quickly transmitted from the frames to the body due to reliable engagement between the gussets and the stopper members. The gussets used as elements of the body stopper also behave to increase the rigidity of the body.

The chassis frame and vehicle body are bolted together by four bolt locations in the area of upper supports of the spring struts of the front and rear axle. The chassis frame and vehicle body are also glued to each other along segments of the support structure thereof extending parallel to each other, wherein adhesive surfaces are located in the area between the front and rear bolt locations. The adhesive in the middle area of the motor vehicle ensures a large surface area for force application from the chassis frame into the vehicle body and vice versa, which is supplemented by the bolt locations outside of the adhesive joint.

The present invention relates to an attachment arrangement for attaching together a first and a second structure of a vehicle having a longitudinal extension and a transversal extension together forming a horizontal plane. The arrangement comprises a first attachment member adapted to be attached to the first structure and a second attachment member adapted to be attached to the second structure. At least one of the first and second attachment members comprises a first attachment panel. The first attachment member further comprises a first and a second connection portion. The present invention also relates to a vehicle comprising such an arrangement and method of attaching a first and a second vehicle structure utilizing such an attachment arrangement.
