    摘要: A system assembles and conveys a stream of plate-like workpieces (10) from a production system, such as a speciality box folder-gluer, to a strapping or tying system (27), as counted stacks (16). The system can be converted from counter-ejector mode, automatically counting and assembling workpieces (10) of approximately the same thickness at their leading and trailing edges into stacks (16) as they emerge from the production system, to a standard conveyor system, delivering a shingled stream of workpieces (10) that are thicker or thinner at the leading edge, to an assembly station for counting and stacking, either manually or automatically. The system is converted from one mode to the other to accommodate the particular characteristics of the workpieces (10) being produced. In an exemplary embodiment, specific mechanical accommodations are provided in the system to permit this conversion and specific setup steps are taken to accomplish the conversion.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device (10) for stacking sheets (40) of paper or similar, which device is arranged to form stacks (4) downstream of a sheet-cutting line comprising, in particular, an unwinding machine, a printer and a cutting machine (6). The device is characterised in that: the stacking table (20) is stationary and located in the same plane as a conveyor (5) used to remove the stacks (4), and it includes a discharge conveyor (7) comprising first and second ends (70, 71) that are connected respectively to a cutting outfeed conveyor (3) and the stacking table (20). The discharge conveyor (7) is arranged to transfer the cut sheets (40) individually from the cutting outfeed conveyor (3) to the stacking table (20) and said discharge conveyor is coupled to drive means arranged to move the second end (71) between a low position in which, when the first sheet of a stack (4) is moved, the second end (71) is located at the stacking table (20) and a high position in which, when the last sheet of the stack (4) is moved, the second end (71) is located at a height corresponding to that of the full stack (4).
