The invention comprises a method of cleaning a kitchenware article, the method comprising a pre-treatment step in which a pre-cleaning composition is applied to the kitchenware article; and a dishwashing step in which the kitchenware article is washed in a dishwashing machine using a dishwashing composition; characterised in that the pre-cleaning composition is ejected from a pressurised aerosol canister and provides a cleaning foam on the surface of the kitchenware article.

The invention provides a foaming component for use in association with a foaming dispenser comprising: an air sparging element chosen from a group consisting of sintered polyethylene, sintered bronze, sintered stainless steel, micro porous materials, and multi-layer stainless steel gauze; a mixing chamber on one side of the air sparging element and the air sparging element defining a portion of the mixing chamber and the mixing chamber having a liquid inlet; an air chamber on the other side of the air sparging element and the air sparging element defining a portion of the air chamber and the air chamber having an air inlet; and a mixing chamber outlet down stream of the liquid inlet in the mixing chamber. Foam dispensers for use with the foaming component are also provided.

The invention relates to a liquid composition for cleaning hard surfaces comprising: a carrier, at least some of which is aqueous; one or more surfactants; and an effective amount of a compound of formula (I) wherein m and n, equal or different, are integers from 2 to 8 and R is an optionally substituted alkyl chain having from 8 to 18 carbon atoms, for providing a hydrophobic coating film on said hard surfaces. The invention also relates to a liquid composition for coating a substrate and for providing a hydrophobic coating film thereon comprising: a liquid carrier and an effective amount of a compound of formula (I). The liquid composition of the invention is effective for rendering self-cleaning said hard surface and for reducing the presence of water marks on said hard surface, even after said hard surface has been later subjected to aqueous contacts. Another aspect of the invention includes a hydrophobic coating film for at least partially covering a substrate, said hydrophobic coating film comprising a compound of formula (I).

The invention relates to a cosmetic and/or dermatological cleansing preparation containing a substance combination comprised of: a) one or more non-ionic surfactants selected from the group consisting of decyl glycoside, lauryl glycoside, coconut glycoside; b) one or more anionic surfactants selected from the group consisting of sodium cocoyl glutamate, sodium lauryl ether sulfate, sodium sarcosinate, sodium myristyl ether sulfate; c) glycerol monooleate in addition to optional other cosmetic and/or dermatological active substances, auxiliary agents, and additives, with a water content of at least 75 % by weight with regard to the total weight of the preparation and to a viscosity of less than 1000 mPas.

The invention also relates to a method for washing, rinsing or cleaning, which can be carried out using the inventive portions of washing agent, rinsing agent, or cleaning agent.

Providing a fluorinated hydrocarbon with excellent cleaning action, incombustibility and high stability in alkali or water and heat; and a polymer-containing solution prepared by dissolving or dispersing a polymer with film-forming potency, preferably a fluoropolymer, in a solvent containing trihydrofluorocarbon. More specifically, a fluorinated hydrocarbon containing trihydrofluorocarbon with 4 to 6 carbon atoms at 95 % or more, as represented by the following formula, is provided, together with a polymer-containing solution containing the same: Rf1-R1-Rf2 wherein R1 represents a carbon chain of CHF and CH2, bound to each other; Rf1 and Rf2 independently represent a perfluoroalkyl group; and Rf1 and Rf2 may be bound to each other, to form a ring.

According to the invention, an easily understood and operator-guiding representation relative to the femur and the mid-point of the ball joint on positioning of the tool may be provided in a method for display of the position and orientation of a tool for the preparation of a femur for a femur implant engaging with a ball joint in the acetabulum of the pelvis, or in a joint socket, inserted in the pelvis or similar, whereby, in a transverse plane of the femur (16) at the level of the mid-point (M) of the ball joint (20), the above and an intersection line (21) of said transverse plane and an instrument plane (17) are represented, which pass through the midpoint of the ball joint (20). A device for carrying out said method is also disclosed.
