Disclosed are processes for tinting hydrogel materials, such as contact lenses, by dissolving a leuco sulfate ester of a vat dye in a compatible monomer solution, adding an oxidizing initiator to the monomer solution, and oxidizing and polymerizing the monomer solution and dye in the same solution. In one aspect, the oxidation and polymerization are conducted simultaneously whereas in another embodiment, the oxidation of the soluble leuco sulfate ester of a vat dye to the insoluble vat dye and polymerization are conducted sequentially in the same reaction medium.

The present invention relates to a process for dyeing cellulosic warp yarns with indigo by applying a leucoindigo foam to the warp yarns and subsequently oxidizing the leucoindigo to indigo, wherein the warp yarns are led through an entry opening into a sealed foam chamber and have leucoindigo foam applied to them therein before they reemerge from the foam chamber through an exit opening, the longitudinal tension of the warp yarns being closed loop controlled such that they are in a state of free suspension within the foam chamber.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein textile Vektorenschutzstruktur sowie ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung. Es ist die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, eine textile Vektorenschutzstruktur sowie ein Verfahren zu entwickeln, um damit die Herstellung von Textilien mit Vektorenschutz zu ermöglichen, wobei der Wirkstoffgehalt exakt entsprechend den Anwendungserfordernissen eingestellt werden kann, Hautirritationen vermieden werden und ein langer Lebenszyklus erreicht wird. Diese Aufgabe wird einerseits durch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer textilen Vektorenschutzstruktur gelöst, wobei permethrinhaltige Fasern zu einer textilen Struktur verarbeitet werden und die textile Struktur in einem Vorbehandlungs- und/oder Textilveredelungsprozess bei Temperaturen von höchstens 130°C behandelt und/oder veredelt wird. Darüber hinaus wird die Aufgabe durch eine textile Vektorenschutzstruktur gelöst, welches aus einer permethrinhaltige Fasern enthaltenden, in einer Vorbehandlung bei Temperaturen von höchstens 130°C behandelten und/oder in einem Textilveredelungsprozess bei Temperaturen von höchstens 130°C veredelten textilen Struktur ausgebildet ist.
