摘要:

The aim of the invention is to design an acoustic nonwoven fabric which can be processed without any problem and develops as little smoke as possible in case of a fire. Said aim is achieved by a layer for use in a metal ceiling. Said layer has a maximum mass per unit area of 45 g/m² and comprises a maximum of 30 g/m² of a fiber mixture and a maximum of 10 g/m² of a flame retardant.

The present invention relates to a circumferential frame (39) made of a multiplicity of connectible frame parts, wherein the frame parts are connected to each other by a snap-fit connection provided on an assembly of a first and second frame part engaging one another at the snap-fit connection. The present invention also relates to a baffle element comprising a panel (38) surrounded by a circumferential frame (39) according to the invention and a baffle system comprising at least one such baffle element.

The invention discloses modules for covering e.g. walls, ceilings and other boundaries such as movable partitions, where the modules are designed for adaptation not only to plane surfaces but also to curved surfaces and where the modules can be provided with sound-absorbing and/or reflecting properties to influence the acoustics of for instance a room. In their basic form, the modules comprise a front face, which can be plane, curved or provided with various surface structures, the front face being bounded by at least two laterally disposed edge portions for connection to attachment portions for releasable attachments to rails, etc., on for instance a wall. According to some of the embodiments described, the modules are hollow bodies, whereby the cavity formed within a module can be used for acoustic attenuation purposes, when the cavity is connected to the surroundings via openings in the module. There is furthermore described systems of modules, said systems generally comprising a plurality of planes at different distances from the wall. Passages can be provided between adjacent modules of a given plane to provide access to the region behind these modules and to further modules placed in another plane in this region. Such composite systems can be utilised in a beneficial manner to influence the acoustics of the room and furthermore said passages can be used for air-conditioning/heating purposes and many other applications as mentioned in the description.

A decorative structure is provided that is suspended within a space and includes a panel fastened to a support structure by a clip. A portion of the clip extetrls along a face of the panel opposite that aligned adjacent the support structure. A decorative structure is also providing that includes a panel connected to a support structuring having a fIrst member including a keyed aperture in which are disposed a first cross member and a second cross member interconnected to the first cross member. The decorative structure of the present invention may be curved.

An architectural cover panel system (10) of individually adaptive panels (16) for covering structural support members (13) of an underlying structure such as girders (30). An individual adaptive panel includes a sheet of flexible material having a generally convex cross-section and is provided with corrugations (18) oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the panel. In one preferred embodiment the convex panel is provided with edge portions (21) attached to the lateral side edges of the panel. The edge portions are similarly provided with corrugations (27) oriented parallel to and intersecting or merging into the corrugations (18) of the convex panel portions (24). In other embodiments of the invention, panels having radial corrugations (64) are used allowing the panels to respond to dimensional changes due to temperature effects and to resist wind forces without deforming the shape of the overall structure, and panels (65) with diagonal corrugations (89) provide bidirectional flexibility.
