The system may include a pump operatively connected to the cooling loop and configured to pump seawater through the cooling loop, a temperature sensor operatively connected to the cooling loop and configured to monitor a temperature of the seawater in the cooling loop, and a controller operatively connected to the temperature sensor and to the pump, the controller configured to issue a warning and to increase a speed of the pump if it is determined that the monitored temperature of the seawater exceeds a predetermined threshold temperature.

摘要: An outboard motor includes an oil cooler (25), an engine cooling water passage (33), an oil cooling water passage (34) and a water discharge passage (93). The oil cooler is disposed forward of a crankshaft (6). The engine cooling water passage is disposed inside an engine. The oil cooling water passage is connected to the oil cooler, while diverging from the engine cooling water passage. The water discharge passage is connected to the oil cooler. The water discharge passage is disposed lower than the oil cooler, while being disposed forward of a center axis of the crankshaft.
