Provided is a rolling bearing with a seal in which a seal lip can be made to make sliding contact with a slinger always at a constant contact pressure without being impacted by the centrifugal force associated with rotation of the bearing, and which can ensure dust resistance. The rolling bearing is provided with: a ring-shaped seal member (15) that is secured to an end section in the axial direction of the inner peripheral surface of an outer wheel (11), which is a rotating wheel, and that seals the space between the outer wheel (11) and an inner wheel (12); and a ring-shaped slinger (16) that is secured to an end section in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface of the inner wheel (12), which is a fixed wheel, with the seal member (15) being in contact with the slinger (16). The seal member (15) is provided with a seal lip (24) that is in sliding contact with the slinger (16). The seal lip (24) can elastically deform so as to turn radially outward due to centrifugal force associated with the rotation of the outer wheel (11). The slinger (16) is formed so as to be curved in accordance with the path of movement of a tip section (24a) of the seal lip (24) which is elastically deformed by the centrifugal force, and has a curved sliding-contact section (16c) with which the tip section (24a) of the seal lip (24) is always in contact.

It is an obj ect of the present invention to provide a resin composition whose flowability is secured when the resin composition is injection-molded into injection-molded articles such as a resin-made crown-shaped cage and a resin-made seal both for a rolling bearing and a resin-made sliding bearing and which is capable of enhancing the mechanical strengths and toughnesses of these injection-molded articles to such an extent that these injection-molded articles can be used as bearing members. The resin composition is formed into a molded article and used as a bearing member. The resin composition is composed of polyamide resin or polyester resin to which polycarbodiimide is added. The polyamide resin is at least one resin selected from among polyamide 66 resin and polyamide 11 resin. The polyester resin is polytrimethylene terephthalate resin. 0.5 to 6 wt% of the polycarbodiimide is contained in an entirety of the resin composition. A resin-made crown-shaped cage (1) is obtained by injection-molding the resin composition.

An axial lip is formed on a side surface of a seal of a rolling bearing which faces a slinger so as to expand outwards of the bearing. A projecting portion is formed on a flat surface of the slinger which faces the seal by flexing the slinger in an axial direction so as to cause the slinger to project inwards of the bearing, and a distal end of the axial lip is brought into contact with the flat surface of the slinger in a position lying further radially outwards than the projecting portion on the slinger. A radially inward inner surface of the axial lip of the axial lip and a radially outer side sloping surface formed radially outwards of the projecting portion on the slinger form a labyrinth, and a portion of the side surface of the seal which lies further radially inwards than the position where the axial lip is formed and an apex portion of the projecting portion on the slinger form a labyrinth.
