    摘要: A dielectric fitting assembly (10) includes a hose (14) connected between two end fittings (12), each end of the hose being connected to the fittings by a crimped socket (16). A structural reinforcement portion (18) has at least an inner layer (26) and an outer layer (28), the inner layer being formed of at least different first and second composite materials. The first composite material has a high strength relative to the second composite material and the second composite material has a high electrical resistance relative to the first composite material. The first composite material surrounds the socket of each fitting and extends axially toward the other fitting, and the second composite material surrounds the first composite material and surrounds the hose at least between the axially extending portions of the first composite material, the outer layer being formed of non-conductive fibres.
