This invention relates to a method for producing a corrosion resistant metal substrate and corrosion resistant metal substrate provided thereby. The method involves forming a plated substrate comprising of a metal substrate provided with a nickel layer or with a nickel and cobalt layer followed by electrodepositing a molybdenum oxide layer from an aqueous solution onto the plated substrate, which is subsequently subjected to an annealing step in a reducing atmosphere to reduce the molybdenum oxide in the molybdenum oxide layer to molybdenum metal in a reduction annealing step and to form a diffusion layer which contains nickel and molybdenum, and optionally cobalt.

The cover assembly includes a first structure configured to be placed on the fuel pipe assembly and extending along a portion of a length of the fuel pipe assembly, the first structure configured to partially encapsulate the fuel pipe assembly and a second structure configured to extend along the portion of the length of the fuel pipe assembly and configured to be coupled to the first structure such that the first structure and the second structure encapsulate the portion of the length of the fuel pipe assembly.

A liquid delivery system is described, in particular in the form of a fuel delivery system. The delivery system including a reciprocating pressure pump having an inlet valve connected to a liquid supply line, with the reciprocating pump being adapted to take in the liquid from the liquid supply line through the inlet valve and deliver it under pressure through an outlet valve. The liquid supply line has, at least an elongate part with an initial cross sectional shape which differs from a circular cross section. The elongate part is adapted to change its cross sectional shape and area to a shape more closely approximating a circular cross section when liquid present therein is subjected to pressure peaks resulting from operation of the reciprocating pressure pump and especially of the inlet valve thereof. A liquid supply line and a liquid return line are also claimed.

A fuel storage and distribution system for a gas-fueled sea-going vessel comprises a tank room that constitutes a gastight space enclosing tank connections and valves associated with them. A part of a refrigeration or air conditioning circuit reaches into said tank room. A first local heat transfer circuit is configured to receive heat from said part of the refrigeration or air conditioning circuit in said tank room and arranged to transfer such received heat to liquefied gas fuel handled in said fuel storage and distribution system.

A method of making a connector (20) for a fluid line connector assembly (10), comprising the steps of: molding a connector body having a ramp (80) with an outer skin (102) and an inner core (100), wherein the inner core (100) extends through the ramp (80) to a sacrificial portion (104) formed at least partially from the outer skin (102); and severing the sacrificial portion (104) from the ramp (80). The molding step further comprises molding the connector body as a one-piece body having a generally cylindrical shape that extends axially from one axial end to the ramp (80) which is located at a second axial end, with the ramp (80) extending radially outwardly to the sacrificial portion (104).

A fuel injection system for a reciprocating engine, comprising injectors for injecting pressurized fuel into the cylinders of the engine, a high pressure pump for pressurizing fuel to be injected, a supply pipe for feeding fuel from the high pressure pump toward the injectors and feed pipes for feeding fuel from the supply pipe to the injectors. The first ends of the feed pipes are connected to the injectors and the second ends to the supply pipe. Each fuel injector is provided with a pressure accumulator.

Kraftstoffleitungsaggregat für Kraftfahrzeuge, mit zwei Rohrleitungsabschnitten (1, 2) und zumindest einer zwischen den beiden Rohrleitungsabschnitten angeordneten Filtereinrichtung (3). Kraftstoff wird über einen ersten Rohrleitungsabschnitt (1) der Filtereinrichtung (3) zugeführt und Kraftstoff wird über einen zweiten Rohrleitungsabschnitt (2) aus der Filtereinrichtung (3) abgeführt, wobei die Filtereinrichtung (3) zwei Funktionszustände aufweist. In einem ersten Funktionszustand der Filtereinrichtung wird der zugeführte Kraftstoff mittels zumindest eines Filtermediums (8) der Filtereinrichtung (3) gefiltert. Nach Umschaltung der Filtereinrichtung (3) in einen zweiten Funktionszustand durchströmt der Kraftstoff die Filtereinrichtung (3) über zumindest einen Durchlasskanal (7) ohne Filterung.
