    摘要: An apparatus for electrically charging a rechargeable power source of a pipeline tool while the tool is located within a pipeline comprises a power module including a charging power source, an insertion module including an insertion mechanism having a charging plug for mating with a charging socket of the pipeline tool and a drive assembly operable to extend and retract the charging plug, and a power line electrically connecting the charging power source to the charging plug. The charging power source, power line, and charging plug may be enclosed by a pressure barrier and brought into pressure equalization with the pipeline, wherein the power line does not cross the barrier. The charging power source may include batteries or a generator. If a generator is employed and a pressure barrier must be maintained, a magnetic coupling may be used to transmit kinetic energy across the barrier for input to the generator.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for introducing a pig-type tool (2) into an operational pipeline (4), such as a fluid conduit. According to said method, the pipeline (4) is drilled while in service and the tool (2) is introduced into the pipeline (4) through the drilled hole (4.4). A method for exploring, determining the soiling level in, cleaning, measuring, inspecting, repairing or similar pipelines by means of an adequate, pig-type tool is created by appropriately removing the tool from the pipeline. The invention further relates to a device and a tool which allow/s the disclosed method to be carried out. The invention makes it possible to cost-efficiently process pipelines which are not piggable otherwise.

Hierfür erstreckt sich ein Abdichtelement (8) zwischen den Verspannelementen, welches die Kammer gegenüber dem Rohrinnern abdichtet.
