摘要: A plate fin heat exchanger is configured to receive hot flow from a hot source and cool flow from a cool source. The plate fin heat exchanger (10) includes a plurality of plates (18) arranged in parallel to define a plurality of flow passages (24, 26) there between, and a set of closure bars (20) arranged at a first side (30) of the plurality of plates (18) to seal a first set (26) of the flow passages (24, 26) against ingress of the hot flow, thereby directing the hot flow into a second set (24) of the flow passages (24, 26). Each respective closure bar (20, 22) includes an inner core (46) formed of a first material having a first coefficient of thermal expansion and an outer cladding (48) arranged about the inner core (46), the outer cladding (48) formed of a second material having a second coefficient of thermal expansion. The first coefficient of thermal expansion is less than the second coefficient of thermal expansion.

摘要: A plate fin heat exchanger having a first flow channel (A) and a second flow channel (B) which are formed by at least three flat plates (2) arranged in parallel with one another at a predetermined spacing and opposed side walls (3, 8) provided between the adjacent flat plates. A platelike wall (4) interconnecting the side walls (3) is provided within at least one of the first and second flow channels and has a multiplicity of projections (5) arched when seen from one side and formed by cutting the interconnecting wall and being projected upward and downward. Each of the arched projections is opposed to a fluid passage.

摘要: An expanded heat sink for transferring heat from an electronic display component to a path of cooling air is disclosed. A continuous sheet may define a series of channels where the cooling air is blown through the channels and along the continuous sheet. When viewed along the path of the cooling air and oriented horizontally, the continuous sheet may define a series of four-sided polygons having top, bottom, left side, and right side portions where either the top or bottom portions are absent from each polygon. The absent top portions may be supplied by a front plate or the rear portion of an electronic display. The absent bottom portions maybe supplied by a rear plate. One or more components of the electronic display may be placed in thermal communication with the sheet and/or front/rear plates to transfer heat from the components to the cooling air.
