摘要: A method for processing data to generate a graphical user interface includes receiving (610) a set of referral requirements for a first department of a facility, wherein the set of referral requirements indicates data requested by the department for making a referral to the first department. The method further includes creating (602) a plurality of data entry fields associated with the set of referral requirements into an electronic form, receiving (604) a referral request directed to the first department, and providing (605) the electronic form. The method further includes processing received data input to the plurality of data entry fields, automatically filling (607) data fields of a referral notification form using the received input, generating a graphical user interface for notification of a referral to the first department, and providing (608) the graphical user interface to the first department.

摘要: A server-based system enables exchange of medical messages between users, monitors for a probability of communications breakdown likely to result in medical error, and instigates corrective actions to prevent communications breakdown from occurring. Monitoring may include whether a user has read or acted upon a message received within a specified timeframe and whether a user has specified routing preferences for delivering a message to a user better suited to read or act on the message. Corrective actions include the determination of and routing of messages to an optimal recipient and the generation of alerts to subsequent users where a message has not been read or acted upon within a specified timeframe.

摘要: A system and method for ‘Individualized Life Management’ focusing on individualized and collaborative health care involving a plurality of individuals, using groups of state parameters for defining a state of each individual, and using groups of action parameters for defining ‘treatment options’ and/or ‘behavior options’ targeted at an individual. The system includes a data processor for processing input data, which are based on the groups of state parameters, into output data, which are the basis for the groups of action parameters, using defined relationships/assignments between groups of state parameters and groups of action parameters. Data storage stores the groups of state parameters and action parameters and the defined relationships/assignments between groups of the state and action parameters. A data communication system/platform communicates state parameters and/or action parameters among the individuals. The data processor means can include an adaptive structure (e.g., neural networks) where the defined relationships/assignments between groups are redefined/updated using empirical pairs of action parameter groups and state parameter groups.

摘要: A medical support device (25) distributes medical information of a patient to external terminals (11) the supporters have, and shares comments from the supporters to support diagnosis and treatment of a doctor in charge of the patient. In the medical support device (25), an information sending section (39a) distributes the information to the external terminals (11). An information receiving section (39b) receives response information sent from the doctor or the supporter in response to the distributed information. A relation display controller (36b) displays the distributed and response information in a related manner. An importance determining section (37) determines the degree of importance of the information to be distributed. When the degree of importance of the information equals or exceeds a threshold value, a reception state setting section (38) suspends transmission of new information from the external terminals (11) and puts the terminals (11) in a ready-to-receive state.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided to facilitate consultations between a referral source (e.g., labs, pathologists and patients) and a consultant (e.g., pathologist, radiologist, or other digital image analyst). Links between the various referral sources and consultants are established through a scanning center via a data communication network such as the Internet. The referral source sends a slide to the scanning center where the corresponding digital slide is posted for review and analysis by the consultant. Upon completion of the analysis and report, a digital slide conference is conducted through the scanning center that provides a venue for direct communication regarding the consultation. The scanning center may also facilitate payment from the referral source to the consultant.
