摘要: The present exemplary embodiments provide a touch display device which connects a touch driving circuit and a plurality of touch sensors using a plurality of dummy pixels disposed on a display panel to recognize a touch event of a user. When the touch wiring line is implemented, the same material as the pixel electrode or the source line included in the plurality of dummy pixels is used so that a separate process for implementing the touch wiring line is not necessary. Further, in a pixel structure in which one data line is disposed for every two pixels, the source line is disposed in a region where the data line is not disposed to be used as a touch wiring line. Therefore, the touch recognizable area may expand as compared with a case using a pixel metal.

摘要: A method of assembling a capacitive touch device is disclosed. The method comprises providing a flexible sheet having first and second faces and first and second wings divided by a fold line. The flexible sheet supports capacitive touch switches, contact lands and conductive tracks interconnecting the capacitive touch switches and the contact lands on the first face of the flexible sheet. The method comprises providing adhesive on the first face of the flexible sheet so as to bond the first and second wings and to bond a circuit board to flexible sheet. The method comprises placing a circuit board on the flexible sheet, the circuit board having contact pads which are aligned with the contact lands and folding the flexible sheet along the fold line so as to bond the first and second wings with the circuit board interposed between the first and second wings.

The device comprises a conductive element comprising one or more grooves, a capacitive field measurement element coupled to the conductive element, and a controller coupled to the capacitive field measurement element. The grooves comprise material with conductivity lower than the conductivity of the conductive element. The capacitive field measurement element is configured to measure change in the capacitive field in proximity of the grooves caused by physical interaction or proximity between the grooves and an external object, and provide the measurement to the controller. The controller is configured to trigger at least one function assigned to the one or more grooves when a change in the capacitive field in proximity of the one or more grooves is measured. Methods of operation and manufacture are also presented.
