    摘要: An interactive electronic drum system and training techniques suitable for use in a coin-operated environment such as an arcade are described. Electronic drum pads (21-28), audio speakers (61-63), a visual display (105), training lights (21A-28A), and an overall control system (85) are combined to simulate the excitement of a live drum or inactive musical jam session for a user. Positive feedback, and as necessary, instructive aid are provided to make the experience a positive one for both the novice and the expert player. Learning and playing a musical instrument becomes an intuitive, exciting experience and not a boring chore to be endured. Players can simulate the experience of playing in a rock band before a live and appreciative audience. In short, this interactive electronic drum systems makes drums and the jamming experience widely accessible to the public.

    摘要: A key of each measure is distinguished depending on performance data representing sounds composing a tune (step SB2). It is judged whether or not the distinguished key coincides with tonality data of the corresponding performance data, whereby it is judged whether or not the performance data is modulated with a key signature omitted (step SB3). A musical score corresponding to a portion which is not modulated with a key signature omitted is displayed in a normal manner (step SB4). Meanwhile, a musical score corresponding to a portion which is modulated with a key signature omitted is displayed in a specific displaying manner different from the normal displaying manner, such as in color different from the normal displaying manner and/or in a reversed displaying manner (step SB5), whereby a user can confirm the portion which has been modulated with a key signature omitted.

    摘要: A music game apparatus (PC) displays a given game screen according to music piece information. The game screen includes images of performance operators to be operated according to the music piece information. The game apparatus transmits, to an electronic musical apparatus (10) including performance operators, e.g. keys, guide information for providing a performance guide to indicate a particular operator (key) to be operated at timing earlier than timing at which the particular operator should be operated. The musical apparatus provides display to indicate to the user the particular operator to be operated according to the received guide information. The game apparatus may control the musical apparatus to prohibit the performance guide from being carried out according to note information other than the guide information. Further, the game apparatus may control the music apparatus so as to prohibit operation related information representing the operated performance operator from being supplied to a tone generator.
