The present invention can provide a switch gear which is capable of effectively utilizing the space in a vessel, and reducing the size and cost thereof, and which is high in reliability and safety. A vacuum vessel 1 is formed by molding a metallic tank 2 with an insulating resin 5, and a portion of the insulating resin 5 is formed into a cylindrical shape to provide an insulation barrier 20 so as to surround an extended portion of a ground contact side movable conductor 13 which extends from the vacuum vessel 1. A ground/test terminal 21 is arranged with one end thereof extended into the insulation barrier 20, and the other end thereof extended outwardly of the insulating resin 5. The ground/test terminal 21 and the ground contact side movable conductor 13 are electrically connected with each other through a second flexible conductor 22 within the insulation barrier 20.
