Abstract:
The invention discloses an energy-saving fluorescent lamp with automatically formed by a single step, and the forming method and the mould of the U-shaped tube unit. The energy-saving fluorescent lamp is formed of several single-tube units which are connected to each other with connective bridges, additionally, two walls of one tube unit are parallel to each other, and two walls also are adjacent tightly to each other. The bending direction of the two walls is the same. The advantages of the lamp are effective light utilization, short tube length, and sufficient radiation, and the lamp is automatically single forming in industry. Therefore, the lamp can work with small power, and also has low cost, high efficient, and low rejection ratio.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a lamp (10, 10') which comprises at least one base (11, 11') for connection to a lamp socket on the lamp and at least one LED element (12). The invention is especially characterized in that the lamp is provided with a plurality of LED elements (12) that are disposed at a distance to the socket and combined to a constructional unit (13, 13').
Abstract:
A low/pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp is provided with a discharge vessel (10). The discharge vessel (10) has tubular end portions (11; 11'), each having a longitudinal axis (12; 12'). The discharge vessel (10) encloses a discharge space (18) containing a filling of mercury and an inert gas in a gastight manner. Electrodes (20; 20') are arranged in the discharge space (18). An auxiliary amalgam (27) is mounted close to the electrodes (20; 20'). According to the invention, the auxiliary amalgam (27) is fixed to a part of the lamp, without a separate carrier, so as to be electrically insulated with respect to the electrode (20; 20').
Abstract:
A bulb-shaped fluorescent lamp (1) adopting an inexpensive and highly reliable electronic ballast (3) is provided. A fluorescent arc tube (2), an electronic ballast (3), and a base (6) are provided. The electronic ballast (3) lights and drives the fluorescent arc tube (2), and the base (6) provides power to the electronic ballast (3). The electronic ballast (3) has an inductor (10) connected in series to the fluorescent arc tube (2), and at least two capacitors (11,12) constituting a resonant circuit with the inductor (10) and connected in parallel to the fluorescent arc tube (2). Said capacitors (11,12) are preferably disposed on the surface of a printed board (17) on the base side. They are also preferably disposed stepwise in such a manner that bodies thereof are not opposed to each other and the body with a larger capacitance is spaced further from the fluorescent arc tube (2).
Abstract:
Abstract:
In an atomic absorption spectrophotometer utilizing the direct beam Zeeman's method, plural lamps are installed in the light source unit in order to enhance the versatility and enable continuous analyses. Accordingly, a plurality of low pressure discharge tubes 14 and hollow cathode lamps 16 in total are mounted on a lamp holder 12 of the light source unit, and by rotating the lamp holder 12, an arbitrary lamp may be positioned at the light source position for measurement. When the low pressure discharge tube 14 is used as the light source, in order to perform background correction by the Zeeman's method, a permanent magnet or an electromagnet 24 for operating a magnetic field on the light source is disposed, and a polarizing unit 26 is disposed on the measurement optical path, so that the direction of polarization of the measurement light to be sent to an atomizing unit 26 is changed over between the atomic absorption measurement mode and the background correction mode.
Abstract:
An arc discharge lamp having a sealed envelope including a major body portion and at least one minor transverse end portion. A non-specular light diffusing surface is axially located between the minor transverse end portion and one of the lamp electrodes. A phosphor layer within the sealed envelope subtends the major body portion of the envelope. The surface brightness of the phosphor layer as viewed through the minor transverse end portion of the envelope is greater than the intensity of the external surface brightness of the phosphor layer on the major body portion of the envelope during operation of the lamp. A lamp array for use as an element in a picture display is also disclosed including a plurality of sealed envelopes. In the case of a color presentation of information, one picture element is composed of three sealed envelopes phosphor coated with the primary colors red, green and blue.
