    摘要: A system for levitating a mobile terminal, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a levitation unit mounted on a rear surface of the mobile terminal; and a levitation module configured to generate an electromagnetic force to allow the levitation unit to levitate upward, wherein the levitation unit includes a mounting case attachably detachably coupled to the rear surface of the mobile terminal and a first permanent magnet seated on an inside of the mounting case, wherein the levitation module includes: a housing; a cover that covers the housing; a magnet module disposed in the housing to form an electromagnetic field for levitating the levitation unit; and a PCB that includes a control unit connected to the magnet module to control a current supplied to the magnet module, wherein the magnet module includes a plurality of electromagnets that generate an electromagnetic field for making a repulsive force act on the first permanent magnet, and a second permanent magnet that surrounds the exterior of the plurality of electromagnets and generates a magnetic field for allowing an attractive force to act on the first permanent magnet.

    摘要: Aspects of the invention provide methods and systems for moving a plurality of moveable stages relative to a stator. The stator comprises a plurality of coils shaped to provide pluralities of coil trace groups where each coil trace group comprises a corresponding plurality of generally linearly elongated coil traces which extend across a stator tile. Each moveable stage comprises a plurality of magnet arrays. Methods and apparatus are provided for moving the moveable stages relative to the stator, where a magnet array from a first moveable stage and a magnet array from a second moveable stage both overlap a shared group of coil traces. For at least a portion of the time that the magnet arrays from the first and second moveable stages overlap the shared group of coil traces, currents are controllably driven in the shared coil trace group based on the positions of both the first and second moveable stages. The positions of the first and second moveable stages may be ascertained by feedback.

The pair of magnets generate magnetic force for supporting a ferromagnet in a noncontact manner. The displacement detection means detect the displacement of the ferromagnet in a lateral shift direction. The control means suppresses the vibration of the ferromagnet in a lateral shift direction. The control means controls the pair of magnets so that a stronger magnetic force acts on the ferromagnet that is displaced in a direction departing from the center of the vibration than when the ferromagnet is displaced in a direction returning to the center of the vibration.

    摘要: A magnetic lifting device is described. The magnetic lifting device can be configured to generate magnetic lift using a moving magnetic field to generate an eddy current effect in conductive substrate beneath the device. In one embodiment, the moving magnetic field can be generated by a rotor with arrangement of permanent magnets which is driven by a motor. In operation, the rotor can be spun up from rest to above a threshold velocity, which causes the magnetic lifting device to rise up from the conductive substrate, hover in place in free flight and move from location to location. In free flight, the magnetic lifting device can be configured to carry a payload, such as a person.
