Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren sowie eine Steuerung für einen Mehrmotorenantrieb für eine Druckmaschine, bei dem insbesondere die einzelnen Zylinder 1.1 bis 1.N jeweils durch einen eigenen Motor 2.1 bis 2.N von einer übergeordneten Steuerung 6 drehwinkelsynchron zueinander angetrieben werden. Es soll auf elektrische Weise einfehlersicher gewährleistet sein, daß der Ausfall einer Komponente in einer der Antriebseinheiten nicht zu einer derartigen Verdrehung der Zylinder bzw. Achsen führt, daß beispielsweise die Greifer eines der Zylinder 1.1 bis 1.N durch die Berührung mit der Zylinderoberfläche eines anderen Zylinders 1.1 bis 1.N beschädigt werden. Erfindungsgemäß gelingt dies dadurch, daß nach Feststellen eines Ausfalls einer Komponente in einer der Antriebseinheiten durch die übergeordnete Steuerung 6 die Antriebseinheiten nach einer Zeitfunktion zum Stillstand heruntergefahren werden, wobei diese Zeitfunktion durch das Verhalten derjenigen Antriebseinheit mit einem einen Defekt aufweisender Komponente vorgegeben wird.

A multi-shaft driving apparatus includes a plurality of motors each for rotating one of a plurality of shafts to be synchronously rotated, an encoder, provided for each motor, for detecting a rotational state of the shafts, a pulse generator for generating a pulse signal for rotating the shafts, and a motor control circuit, provided for each motor, for inputting the pulse signal for rotating the shafts and a pulse signal detected by the encoder and used as a feedback signal. The motor control circuit has a PLL control section and a rotational angle phasing section so that a rotational angle phasing control loop is generated to perform a rotational angle phasing operation by the rotational angle phasing section so to as place the shafts in position at a driving start and after performing the rotational angle phasing operation, a rising and steady control loop is generated to perform an operation from a rise state to a steady state by the PLL control section. A fluid rotary apparatus includes a plurality of rotors accommodated in a housing, a plurality of shafts each for rotating one of the rotors to be synchronously rotated, and a fluid sucking opening formed in the housing and a fluid discharge opening formed therein, in addition to the structure of the multi-shaft driving apparatus so that the volume change of a closed space formed by the rotors or by the rotors and the housing is utilized to suck and discharge fluid.

The system comprises a numerical control unit 12 for generating as positional commands trains of distributed pulses having fre-. quencies corresponding to commanded speeds of rotation respectively for the motors, positional control feedback circuits PFS, PFW, PFB respectively for the motors for producing speed command outputs from the trains of distributed pulses and detected signals indicative of positions of the motors, and speed control feedback circuits VFS, VFW, VFB respectively for the motors for controlling the speed of the motors based on the speed command outputs and detected signals indicative of speeds of rotation of the motors.
