    摘要: The disclosure presents a method and an amplifier system for minimizing variation in an acoustical signal caused by variation in gain of an amplifier, comprising a battery for providing a supply voltage to the amplifier, a digital signal processor for providing the acoustical signal to the amplifier, a controller unit receiving an enablement signal when the supply voltage is in an offset mode, and based on the enablement signal requesting a measured voltage during a time period, and a first analog-to-digital converter configured for measuring the supply voltage to the amplifier when receiving the request from the controller unit or the first analog-to-digital converter is configured for measuring the supply voltage to the amplifier continuously, and where variations in the measured voltage relates to variations in the supply voltage during the time period. Furthermore, the controller unit is configured to predict offset modes (i.e. changes) in the supply voltage based on the enablement signals and a fitting of the measured voltages, and wherein the controller unit is configured to generate a compensating signal based on the fitting and transmit the compensating signal to the digital signal processor, the digital signal processor is then configured to minimize variation in the acoustical signal at the output of the amplifier by compensating the variation in gain of the amplifier based on the compensating signal.

    摘要: An example apparatus for supporting digital pre-distortion (DPD) and full duplex (FDX) in cable network environments is provided and includes a first path for signals being transmitted out of the apparatus, a second path for signals being received into the apparatus, a DPD actuator located on the first path, an amplifier located on the first path, an echo cancellation (EC) actuator located on the second path, and a data interface including a plurality of channels connecting the apparatus to a signal processor. DPD coefficients, EC coefficients and delay parameters are provided over the data interface from the signal processor to the apparatus. The DPD actuator predistorts signals on the first path using the DPD coefficients compensating for distortions introduced by the amplifier, and the EC actuator reduces interferences in signals on the second path using the EC coefficients and the delay parameters, facilitating FDX communication by the apparatus.

    摘要: A curve fitting circuit, an analog predistorter, and a radio frequency signal transmitter are disclosed, so as to resolve a problem that, when radio frequency signal decomposition is performed by using an existing polynomial fitting method, a fitting result caused by frequent use of a higher order polynomial is very sensitive to both a higher order term coefficient and a quantization noise. Each segmentation processing circuit in the curve fitting circuit intercepts a part of a received input signal according to a preset rule, generates a to-be-processed signal according to the intercepted part, and generates q output signals according to the to-be-processed signal by using a polynomial fitting method. Parts intercepted by different segmentation processing circuits are not exactly the same. Each first adder circuit receives one signal in the q output signals of each segmentation processing circuit, and obtains one output signal of the curve fitting circuit according to a sum of received n signals. Different first adder circuits receive different output signals in q output signals of a same segmentation processing circuit.
