    摘要: A recycled asphalt roofing material (20) for use on sloped roofs, which provides the required elevated melt point without using prior art methods of oxidising the asphalt prior to incorporation into the roofing material is provided. The recycled asphalt roofing material (20) is made up of approximately 30% flux asphalt and approximately 70% reclaimed asphalt roofing material. The fibrous backing in the reclaimed material modifies the asphalt in such a way as to provide the required elevated melt point. The manufacturing process for recycled fibreglass mat-based roll and shingle roofing, in its preferred embodiment, consists of impregnating a roofing material backbone (22), such as a fibreglass or polyester mat with recycled asphalt material to form inner and outer layers (24) of recycled material and then applying optional second inner and outer layers (26) of standard asphalt coating to the inner and outer layers of the recycled material (24). The second coating encapsulates and seals the recycled material and thus ensures that the recycled roofing material will have the same longevity as prior art asphalt roofing materials.

    摘要: An adhesive rubber article of the type having a release liner covering its tacky, adhesive surface to prevent the adhesive rubber article from adhering to various substrates or to itself prior to its intended use includes an impression or mark presented on one or more surfaces for facilitating the alignment and application of the adhesive rubber article on one or more substrates. The release liner has been scored, perforated or otherwise cut in a longitudinal direction of the article such that the scoring of the release liner further produces a visual guide on the adhesive rubber article. Thus, upon removal of the release paper, the guide may be used to align and apply the adhesive rubber article to the various substrates. These adhesive rubber articles are particularly useful within the roofing industry for bonding panels of rubber membranes together or for use as flashing.

    Eine Kohlenstoff enthaltende Schicht (C) soll auf einem Substrat (S) durch Aufsputtern hergestellt werden können, wobei die Kohlenstoff enthaltende Schicht (C) auf beinahe jedem Substrat (S) gut haftend und als sehr dünne Schicht aufgetragen werden kann und wobei die Kohlenstoff enthal tende Schicht (C) auch eine geringe Leitfähigkeit aufweist. Beim Aufsputtern werden in die Kohlenstoff enthaltende Schicht (C) Kohlenwasserstoff -Molekülteile oder Kohlen wasserstoff-Moleküle mit eingebaut. Eine so beschaffene Kohlenstoff enthaltende Schicht (C) haftet auf beinahe jedem Substrat, ist beinahe kratzfest und hilft Aufladungen und Kontaminationen bei Beschuß mit geladenen Teilchen zu vermeiden.
