    摘要： The invention relates to screw extruders, especially cold feed plastics extruders, in which an extruder screw (18) is mounted for rotation in a bore (20) of a barrel portion (10, 14; 16). The screw extruder comprises at least one roll mounted for rotation adjacent an aperture (26) in the barrel portion (10, 14, 16) so that a surface portion of the roll (24) restrains material from leaving the barrel portion (10, 14, 16) through the aperture (26) and heat transfer can be effected between the material and the roll (24). Preferably there are two such rolls (24), diametrically opposed and heated or cooled. The rolls (24) are rotated in the operation of the extruder, preferably by variable speed drive units (28), in carrying out a method of effecting heat transfer according to one aspect of the invention.

    摘要： This process allows to obtain a continuous granulation of mixtures which harden after homogenization. A premixture is fed from a hopper (1) and it is kneaded, homogenized and plastified in a continuous working machine (2). For the shaping, the mixture ejected from the machine (2) come into a worm screw (4) provided with a hole spinning plate where it fed at low transport pressures to form fillets. These fillets are cut into pieces at the outlet end of the worm screw (4) and they are pneumatically transported towards a sorter. If required, the volatile particules between the machine (2) and the worm screw (4) may be removed. The feed side of the worm screw (4) is connected to the output of the machine (2) by means of a connection pipe (3). The worm screw (4) has a small slope and a relatively fixed core with respect to its outer diameter and rotates in a housing which is divided into longitudinal channels by means of narrow ribs. The possible uses are for example the premixtures of resine, filler or chalk materials, additives and hardener or phenolic resine, cotton fibres, additives and hardener.

    摘要： An extruding machine for plastic material and the like comprising one or more worm spindles (1). Each spindle is divided in two end portions (2, 3) and an intermediate portion (4). The two end portions of each spindle are designed as worms (5, 6) with opposite directed screws, the worm portions being positioned in a cylindrical housing respectively (8, 9) while the intermediate portion (4) of the spindle is located in a receiving chamber (7) positioned in between said cylinders.
    The material to be extruded is supplied by respective hoppers (12 and 13) each arranged at the end of the cylinder remote from the chamber (7). So the worms (5 and 6) push the material from two opposite sides into the receiving chamber from where it is passed to the machine die by deflecting inner walls 10 of said chamber.
