    摘要: This invention relates to a fold structure of a corrugated fiberboard, which comprises a corrugated fiberboard sheet (1) having folds (12) like the letter V, along which the corrugated fiberboard sheet (1) is folded in the shape of the letter V, such that the folds (12) extend perpendicularly to or at an angle other than a right angle to flutes (10). Each fold (12) like the letter V is composed of cut portions (12a), each of which has a predetermined length and penetrates the corrugated fiberboard sheet (1) and hinge portions (12b), each of which has a predetermined length and is formed by compressing the flutes (10), and the cut portions (12a) and the hinge portions (12b) are formed in an alternate arrangement in alignment with the fold. Auxiliary cut portions (12c), each of which has the planar shape of an approximately one-sided arrow directed in a convex shape toward the adjacent hinge portion (12b) and penetrates the corrugated fiberboard sheet (1), are formed on the reverse side at both ends of the each cut portion (12a). With the above constitution, the folds like the inverted letter V and the folds like the letter V are able to be formed on the corrugated fiberboard sheet through one process by the same die cutter, and the corrugated fiberboard sheet is able to be folded along the folds smoothly and accurately.

    摘要: During its production, a rigid corrugated-board web (2) is cut into corrugated-board formats (3) by at least one longitudinal severing cut (41, 42) and transverse severing cuts (51), a continuous movement of the web being maintained in the process. In addition, corner-shaping cuts (61, 62) are punched in coordination with the at least one longitudinal severing cut (41, 42) and the transverse severing cuts (51), these corner-shaping cuts removing corner material in the form of punched parts (63, 64) and producing at least one shaped edge of the corrugated-board formats (3). The corner-shaping cuts (61, 62), which, in relation to the web width, are punched one after the other in at least one width position, the at least one longitudinal severing cut (41, 42) and the transverse severing cuts (51) are made in alignment with one another. A corrugated-board making installation (1) for implementing the method comprises a corner shaping-cut punching arrangement (6), which produces punched sections in the moving corrugated-board web (2) in order to produce the corner-shaping cuts (61, 62), and synchronizing control means (75, 76) for synchronizing the production of the transverse severing cuts (51) with the production of the corner-shaping cuts (61, 62).
