Bei einer landwirtschaftlichen Arbeitsmaschine mit einem Fahrgestell (1), einem Motor (6), wenigstens einem Zusatzaggregat (7, 8, 21) und einer Lüftereinheit (9), die in einem gemeinsamen Motorgehäuse (4) auf dem Fahrgestell (1) montiert sind, ist die Lüftereinheit (9) vor dem Motor (6) angeordnet und vorgesehen, um in einem Normalbetriebsmodus Frischluft in das Motorgehäuse (4) einzuspeisen, und ist über dem Zusatzaggregat (7, 8, 21) angeordnet und in dem Normalbetriebsmodus von oben nach unten durchströmt.

An engine assembly (10) including an internal combustion engine (12) configured to be received in an engine compartment (100) and a heat exchanger (20) having a first conduit (22) fluidly connected to a fluid circuitry (23) of the engine (12) and a second conduit (24) fluidly connecting an interior (108) of the engine compartment (100) to its environment (110). The first conduit (22) is in heat exchange relationship with the second conduit (24). The assembly (10) further includes a forced air system (28) operable in use to provide an air flow from the environment (110) to the outlet (104) via the second conduit (24) of the heat exchanger (20) and the engine compartment (100). The assembly (10) further includes a selector valve (30) configurable to selectively fluidly connect an air intake (18) of the internal combustion engine (12) with the interior (108) of the engine compartment (100) in a first valve position and with the environment (110) in a second valve position.

Provided is a construction machine capable of smooth exhaust and suppression of a leak of noise from an engine room (31), including an engine guard (23) defining an engine room (31), a cooling fan (33) disposed in the engine room (31), a projection element (36) projecting upward beyond the engine guard (23), and an exhaust duct (38). The exhaust duct (38) has a bent shape including a first duct section (38a) extending along an axial flow direction of the cooling fan (33) from an upstream end portion surrounding a duct inlet (38c) to a connection portion and a second duct section (38b) extending upward from the connection portion and surrounding a duct outlet (38d) opened upward, also including an engine concealment section obstructing a direct view to an engine (32) through the duct outlet (38d) from outside the engine room (31).

A liquid-air cooling system (1) has at least one fan device (2) that consists of at least one variable-speed fan motor (3) driving a fan impeller (4) to create a cooling power for a fluid (5) in a fluid cycle (6). In order to regulate the speed of the fan motor (3) by means of a control and/or regulation device (24), at least one actual value (t ist ) downstream of the segmented heat exchanger (19) is compared to a predefined desired value (t soll ), and the control and/or regulation device (24) adjusts the cooling power according to the current power values of the respective machine unit (9).

A cooling system for a compact vehicle such as a compact loader (10) having an engine (18) and an engine compartment (16), includes a single axial flow fan (46) that is surrounded by a shroud (40) and has a high pressure side (44) and a low pressure side (42). Air flow generated by the fan (46) is used for cooling components (58, 60) of the compact vehicle (10) and exhausting heated air from a second shroud. Auxiliary openings (82) are provided between the engine compartment and the shrouds to provide air flow between the engine compartment (16) and one or both of the shrouds (40, 62) when the fan (46) is rotating. The motor (52) driving the fan (46) is reversible.
