An induction motor of the outer rotor-type in which rotor windings are arranged on the outer side of the stator winding. When applied to industrial machinery and traffic systems, the output of the motor can be transmitted to the machine using a simple mechanism. At the same time, adhesion of iron powder is reduced and durability of the machine is not impaired. Further, the motor can be installed under any temperature condition. For this purpose, a stator frame (4) is provided with a hub (5), a stator winding (7) is mounted on the outer periphery of the hub (5) via a yoke (6), a rotary shaft (12) is rotatably supported by a hole (8) in the hub (5), the rotor frame (13) is held at the outer end of the rotary shaft (12), and a rotor winding (14) possessed by the rotor frame (13) is arranged on the side of the outer periphery of the stator winding (7).

The invention relates to a vehicle with an electronic driving engine and a power supply, especially a lift truck, with a power supply voltage of less than 96 volts. The driving engine is an asynchronous engine comprising a rotor provided with rotor plates and a stator provided with stator plates and more than four poles. In order to create a maintenance-free driving engine for vehicles, especially lift trucks, the driving engine should have more than 54 grooves in the stator plates and the root-mean-square value of the engine should be lower than 60 volts alternating current.
