    摘要: [Object] To provide a mechanism capable of securing transmission opportunities of a wireless LAN communication device in a situation in which a signal of a format different from a signal of wireless LAN communication is transmitted.
    [Solution] Provided is a communication device, including: a signal processing unit configured to perform reception determination for a second signal having a different format from a first signal related to communication of a wireless local area network (LAN) standard; a control unit configured to control carrier sense or a communication parameter on a basis of the reception determination for the second signal; and a communication unit configured to perform transmission on a basis of the controlled carrier sense or the controlled communication parameter.

    摘要: A device (1) for protecting a telecommunications apparatus against an abnormal transient voltage signal received via a telecommunications line (2, 3) comprises means (16, 18, 20, 22, 26) for selectively suppressing the transient voltage signal from other normal communications signals. The suppression means (16, 18, 20, 22, 26) are responsive to the frequency of the transient voltage signal rather than its voltage. Overvoltage protection means (12, 14) may also be provided for suppressing transient and continuous overvoltage signals present on the telecommunications line (2, 3).

    摘要: L'invention concerne les dispositifs qui permettent de protéger contre les dégâts dus à la foudre aussi bien une installation téléphonique que la ligne téléphonique à laquelle elle est raccordée.
    Elle consiste à prévoir au moins un jeu de contacts (104, 105) à haut isolement permettant de ne connecter l'installation à la ligne que pendant les périodes d'utilisation. Un circuit pilote (107) relie de manière non galvanique la ligne et l'installation pour détecter les signaux d'appel et les signaux de décrochage et de raccrochage et pour commander en fonction de ces détections le jeu de contacts.
    Elle permet d'isoler l'installation téléphonique de la ligne et éventuellement du secteur en dehors des périodes d'utilisation.

    摘要: Method for replacing a first cable (1) by a second cable (2) between a first predetermined point (1a) and a second predetermined point (1b), comprising:

    a. the provision of first series impedance means (S1) close to the first end (2a) and second series impedance means (S2) close to the second end (2b) of the second cable (2), which first (S1) and second (S2) series impedance means can be switched between a state of high impedance value and a state of low impedance value;
    b. electrically connecting the second cable to the first cable (1) at the first (1a) and second (1b) points, during which operation both the first (S1) and the second (S2) series impedance means are kept in their state of high impedance value;
    c. switching the first (S1) and (S2) series impedance means to their state of low impedance value before optionally removing the first cable between the first point and the second point,
    wherein both said first (S1) and said second (S2) series impedance means are impedance inducing means allowing induction of an impedance within a range from a low impedance value to a high impedance value without cutting through said second cable (2).
