Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate a detectable minimum value of wheel speed (namely, wheel speed effective speed). SOLUTION: This vehicle control device controls the driving force and braking force to be given to a vehicle so that the vehicle body speed is maintained at a target speed. The device includes specifying means (41FR, 41FL, 41RR, 41RL) to specify the wheel speed of a plurality of wheels provided to the vehicle, respectively, a recording means (52) to record a predetermined wheel speed effective speed concerning each wheel, and a determination means (51) to determine whether or not the deviation among each wheel of the specified wheel speed is within a predetermined range. The device also includes an updating means (51) to update the wheel speed effective speed concerning the wheel of which specified wheel speed is lower than the stored predetermined wheel speed effective speed of the plurality of wheels based on the wheel speed specified on the corresponding wheel if an affirmative determination result is obtained by the determination means. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a sudden increase or decrease in driving torque generated in a drive unit when the present control is reflected after intervention and operation of another control, in an automatic traveling control device for a vehicle for controlling the actual vehicle speed so as to conform to a target vehicle speed. SOLUTION: This traveling control device includes: a means for determining a required driving torque based on an integration value of deviation between the target vehicle speed and the actual vehicle speed; a means for controlling the operation of the drive unit based on the required driving torque; and a determination means for determining whether or not the required driving torque is in a state where the required driving torque cannot be achieved in the drive unit by intervention of another control. When determined that the required driving torque is in the state where the required driving torque cannot be achieved in the drive unit, the increase/reduction in a required driving force or the required driving torque is restricted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle travel control device capable of detecting abnormality disabling automatic travel control. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first ECU (engine ECU 9) controlling an engine 100 adjusting vehicle speed based on target control quantity, a second ECU (automatic travel control EUC 8) calculating target control quantity and outputting the same to the first EUC so as to control vehicle speed to target vehicle speed. The first ECU is provided with an abnormality determination part (system limit determination part 91) determining that it is an abnormal state in which control of the engine 100 based on target control quantity should be prohibited when rotation speed of the engine 100 or generated controlled quantity exceed a predetermined value. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle for appropriately moving on an up-slope by controlling a vehicle body speed by braking power while maintaining driving power. SOLUTION: The control device controls the driving power and the breaking power so as to maintain the vehicle body speed at a target speed. More specifically, when the vehicle body speed rises faster than the target speed, the control device controls to maintain the driving power larger than a prescribed value and controls to apply the breaking power to the vehicle so as to maintain the vehicle body speed at the target speed. Thereby, for example, in travelling on the up-slope after descending a down-slope, since driving power enough to move on the up-slope may be ensured, the vehicle can appropriately travel without significantly stalling. That is, the vehicle can travel smoothly at an almost constant speed on such the road surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of judging that a vehicle runs on a bump and appropriately inhibiting a rise of vehicle speed when the vehicle runs down the bump. SOLUTION: The control device for the vehicle is used for controlling drive force given to a vehicle when the vehicle runs over the difference of level. A means for judging running on the difference of level judges whether the vehicle runs on the difference of level, in detail whether the vehicle starts running on the same. Then, a means controlling drive torque controls drive torque given to the vehicle when it is judged that the vehicle runs on the difference of level. Consequently, sudden rise of vehicle speed (run out) when the vehicle runs down the difference of level can be inhibited. Consequently, the control device for the vehicle can inhibit a sense of incongruity of an occupant when the vehicle runs over the difference of level. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route determination device capable of reliably determining a route on which a vehicle is traveling, and a vehicle traveling control device capable of restraining excess loads applying on a braking/driving torque generator or the vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicle traveling control device 1-1, which performs automatic traveling control by controlling an engine 100 applying driving torque to the vehicle C and a braking device 200 applying braking torque to the vehicle C so that the speed V of the vehicle C be a preset target vehicle speed Vo, determines whether or not the route on which the vehicle C is traveling may be a difficult route which is difficult to travel thereon, based on a target driving torque ETo calculated for applying the driving torque to the vehicle C and a target braking torque BTo calculated for applying the braking torque to the vehicle C when performing the automatic traveling control. When determined that the route on which the vehicle C is traveling to be a difficult route, the automatic traveling control is ended. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traveling control device capable of restraining a speed adjustment device from being operated based on abnormal target control quantity as abnormality occurs with a main traveling state detection means. SOLUTION: The vehicle traveling control device is provided with a drive system rotation sensor 7 which detects the traveling state of a vehicle other than a wheel speed sensor 3. When performing automatic traveling control by an automatic travel control ECU8 and when the vehicle speed Ve calculated based on the detection result by the drive system rotation sensor 7 conforms to abnormality determination conditions, an engine ECU9 does not perform automatic traveling control but performs normal control of an engine 100. Thus, by setting the abnormality determination conditions based on the detection result by the drive system rotation sensor 7 to the engine ECU9, the abnormality occurring at the wheel speed sensor 3 can be detected. As a result, it can be restrained that the engine 100 may be operated based on abnormal target control quantity due to occurrence of abnormality with the wheel speed sensor 3. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traveling control device capable of stopping and maintaining a vehicle when braking is operated by a driver. SOLUTION: The vehicle traveling control device 1 calculates a gradient target driving force Foi with which the vehicle can be stopped and maintained and a feedback target driving force Fof given by subtracting the gradient target driving force Foi from a reference driving force calculated so that a detected vehicle speed V should be a target vehicle speed Vo in the gradient detected in automatic traveling control ECU7, and outputs the forces to an engine ECU8. The engine ECU8 controls an engine 100 based on a target driving force Fo which is the total of the calculated gradient target driving force Foi and feedback target driving force Fof. When detecting a braking operation by a driver, the automatic traveling control ECU7 outputs the zero or less feedback target driving force Fof to the engine ECU8, and the engine ECU8 controls the engine 100 based on the target driving force Fo less than the gradient target driving force Foi.
